Just a reminder that this would be a great day to fly your flag.
My flag flies 24/7 with light on it. Over the holiday weekend I also have 2 - 3’x5’ American flags that light up hanging on my porch.. Thankful for all we have now and mournful for those we have lost.
The Stars and Stripes and a Gadsen Flag, 24/7/365 since 9/11.
Flies 24/7 here
Thank you for reminding me. My landlord has a 48 star flag and its flying now.
24/7 at my place, too. Still have my Trump/Pence sign up, as well.
Same here.
"Ceterum censeo Islam esse delendam."
Garde la Foi, mes amis! Nous nous sommes les sauveurs de la République! Maintenant et Toujours!
(Keep the Faith, my friends! We are the saviors of the Republic! Now and Forever!)
LonePalm, le Républicain du verre cassé (The Broken Glass Republican)
24/7 here, too.
Yesterday I took the old one down, and put up the clean new one. It looks wonderful. It means more.
I then respectfully burned the old one in the fireplace.
My flag flies 24/7 under lights at night! But, I bought 2 more yesterday for replacements at Menard’s (a Wisconsin hardware chain). They were $4.99 each with a rebate of $5 each. So, Menard’s pays ME 1 cent each to take home a flag. What a company!
Yes, they were printed cotton and won’t last long, but the fancier, stitched nylon ones that fly for a minute over the Capitol that I used to buy from my Congressman for about $20 each don’t last any longer. Thank you Mr. Menard!
I added a smaller, yellow "Don't Tread On Me" flag below the American flag after I attended the initial Tea Party rally in Arizona on Tax Day in 2009.
Old Glory flies every day at my house. My wife puts out a few dozen miniatue flags in our yard on Memorial Day. Its a beautiful sight.
My POW-MIA flag among the midst of USA flags.
I might get a pic out.
Yes, during the beautiful ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery this morning, it was mentioned that on Memorial Day the flag is at half staff until noon. At noon, it is raised to full staff.
It was great to see such moving speeches and music to honor the fallen on Fox this AM, instead of justl Memorial Day ads for car sales and mattress sales.
I fly a Betsy Ross and a Washington’s Cruisers flag every day, the latter switches to a Gadsden flag when the time is right, and I’m considering a Third National Flag for Confederate Memorial Day even though I’m above 43 degrees North.
We have ours flying and we planted one on my brother’s grave yesterday. He’s a vet. Died in 2012 at the age of 68. This was the first year I had the chance. His widow kept his ashes on her piano until last fall. Once she interred the ashes (required by the Catholic Church) their kids were able to move on and so was she.
Yes, it was great to see.
yes
24/7/365. Lighted at night. Brand new every July 4. God Bless America.
Very cool.
Sweet.
Nice.
