I fly a Betsy Ross

I got my dad (career Army) a very expensive Betsy Ross flag for his birthday fifteen years ago. Much later, I found out that he never flew it, preferring to fly his fifty state flag, instead.

I asked him to let me have it so I could fly it, and the old curmudgeon said, "no". Mean old man ;-)
