Two of the regular lane cashiers gave me a thumbs up and my express lane cashier said he was as big a jerk to the guy in front of him as he was to you. The little old lady said “Thank you young man” and her previously dour look turned to a smile. As I checked out she said don’t go getting into a fist fight in the parking lot. I said not likely. The only fear of him is that he would sit on me. Cashier burst out laughing.

Furthermore, almost all of the early vote is counted (all that’s left of the early vote is smaller, rural counties).
The early vote is usually the other side’s advantage. The election day vote is usually our advantage. If we’re even or a tad up in the early vote, we should win by a comfortable margin.
