It would be great, if he wins with over 50%. The libertarian is sucking down the numbers.

Does the winner have to have over 50% in this one?

The candidate who finishes first is elected. No run-off. Don’t need 50 percent. (A requirement for a run-off would help us in this state since the Littletarian often plays the role of spoiler.)

Judging from his website, Mark Wicks appears to be what I would call an old-school, 10th Amendment, property rights, fiscal libertarian—as opposed to the open-borders pothead libertarians I'm now used to seeing nationally and here in Colorado.

In the last election cycle there was a lot of talk about the new, left-wing Libertarians taking as many votes from Democrats as from Republicans. Based on a few minutes reading about Wicks, I would suspect that his voters would go Republican if he weren't in the race.
