It was refreshing to see President Trump speak to the leaders of the Muslim countries in Riyadh honestly and directly about the problems of Islamist terrorism. He told them in plain words that they have to drive out the terrorists from their mosques and countries. He reminded them that terrorists, such as ISIS, kill more Muslims than others.
President Trump spoke bluntly. The Muslim countries must take care of the terrorists:
It is a choice between two futures -- and it is a choice America CANNOT make for you.
A better future is only possible if your nations drive out the terrorists and extremists. Drive them out.DRIVE THEM OUT of your places of worship.
DRIVE THEM OUT of your communities.
DRIVE THEM OUT of your holy land, and
DRIVE THEM OUT OF THIS EARTH.
SNIP
It was a proud day to see an American president acting the way an American president should.
Meanwhile, the mainstream media wing of the Opposition Party did not carry the speech. ABC had its usual Sunday show interviewing Democrat Elijah Cummings, CBS has Democrat Senator Diane Feinstein worrying about Trumps use of Twitter, and NBC carried a soccer game. All three were probably on high alert, though, in case Comeys friends released another Comey memo.

Ping!
Ah, for the under 40s, that’s not how they’d watch the speech anyway.
Liberals created facebook and twitter and they were ruined by it :)
Boy that feels great :)
The Antique Media have jumped the shark, they are truly, no longer relevant.
I only heard about 12 minutes of this speech, but it was BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Made me PROUD to be a TRUMPSTER!!
No matter. The American masses need to be told what the speech means via elite government / media worship wordsmithing. That is the new normal.
Don’t pay for these cable companies.
Liberals created facebook and twitter, where like mentally disturbed minds reaffirm thier idiocy to each other and thier utter disregard for facts truths and common sense
You are very wrong.
Actually it’s such a weak statement with no facts that it’s not wroth responding to.
Just wow.
were the hostile media allowed in the kingdom or were they excluded?
Pretty unconscionable, if you ask me.
The Speech was on Sunday morning and the millennials were all in church anyway
Bump
May I correct your title?
President Trump gives masterful speech (fake news does not carry it)
I guess I wasn’t too surprised to heard President Trump call out “Islamic terrrorism.” After eight years of bunk...
Ditto! Last week, Rush Limbaugh commented that many Trump Loyalist have turned off the news. I nodded in agreement. His first caller confirmed this: "Hey, I just want to confirm something. I heard your opening statements about how a lot of Trump supporters had turned off the news, and Im here to confirm that. ". Just curious. As a Trump Loyalist, do you also find yourself watching less news now than before the election?
They were there but chose not to cover it. Might convey a positive image of POTUS.
Yep if it was a bad speech, then it would immeaditly been all over the news.
Instead we have silence, and can’t find it?
In the meanwhile Geore Soros Media Matters combs through it to give anything their friends in the media.
“Watch news”? I haven’t watched US news for years, thank you. Online sources only.
While visiting China last week I had no choice other than their central programming, and it wasn’t much different from our fake news purveyors.
At least c-span carried it. I remember when GWB gave what may have been the best speech of his presidency from a former Soviet Union country (maybe in Prague or Budapest). C-Span did not even cover it. When questioned, they said that they didn't have the funds to go everywhere. LLPOF. Now we have the internet.
TheBaltimore Sun has a bigger article on "nut job" than on the Saudi Arabia trip. I could only read a couple of paragraphs before my joy at the speech began to dissipate. The Sun used words that President Trump never said to make the speech sound less than it was, which was masterful!
