Yes, they were talking about the stuff this afternoon when I checked in. Had to laugh at the name.

I hope they have a place to get yuccas cheap too. They don’t have a long life expectancy in that planter.

Good evening, radu...how are the kitties doing? Is momma ok with venturing out of her box?

Got Mom, with great difficulty and help from Karma, to the hospital for her CT scan. They were really good with her. All instructions need to be said at least twice now. This whole afternoon and evening have been back and forth and back and forth.

Just got her fed and sitting in bed. Tomorrow is the assessment for help. I’m so ready.

Maybe they get the year-end special at Home Depot! LOL!

I really miss those owlets.I’ve been watching the one in Montana, but the livestream is hinky most of the time. There’s also the cutest Great Gray Owl who has teensy little ones. They live in a tree, though, and there’s not much room for peeking at the young’uns.

How is Pixie and her little family tonight? Did you pick names for the ones that weren’t named?

Karma is a Godsend, isn’t he? I’m so glad he’s around to help with your mom.
Did they give you any indication as to when they’ll have the results of the scan?

I hope she stays quiet through the night now that you’ve gotten her into bed. A relaxing evening would be a nice change for you.

Yep, time for some help so you can have a much-needed break. I don’t know how you’ve made it this far with your sanity intact. It’s been stressful for you. :-(

Kitties are doing well. Pixie’s with them now but was out here for a little while. She likes to spend time with the others so I let her out of the bedroom several times during the day and night. She lets me know when she’s ready to go back to check on the babies.

I gave up on the MY cam a while back because it’s so hinky. All the cams on that site are. That great gray owl is one weird looking bird! Just stared at the cam when I watched but I gave up on that one too. I watch that darling eagle owl in Latvia and her cute owlets. They’re growing fast and soon she won’t keep them covered up as much as she does now.

And the stork eggs are starting to hatch. :-)

Pixie and the babies are fine. I still can’t believe how plump they are. She ate a little too well while she was carrying them and paid for it when they were born.
Still haven’t come up for names for the other two yet. Was too tired to even think about it yesterday and haven’t thought about it today. I need to get on the stick!

Yep...I think that Eagle Owl KNOWS where the cam is and does it on purpose! They’ll be grown before we get to really see them playing and bobbing and weaving.

Well, those kitties will be around a very long time. They don’t have to have a name like my son did before they’d let us take him home from the Army hospital Darn them and their rules. LOL!

She does block the view of those cuties sometimes, like now. They were sitting in view of the cam yesterday morning while having breakfast though.

Yep, no hospital rules about birth certificates and names with the kittehs. LOL! But I still need to come up with something for them. Can't call them "little girly" forever.

Their eyes should open soon and they’ll be even cuter.

They have a great dad. He makes sure there’s plenty of food in the pantry for them. No worries about any of them starving, that’s for sure.

I saw those tiny things eat humongous bites the other night, feathers and all. I about gagged just watching them swallow all of that whole. LOL!

Guess I’ll go watch a show for a bit and then head out. Talk tomorrow night, whenever you get here. Tuneage coming up! :)

Have a good day tomorrow! Hope the weather’s nice. It’ll be gradually warmer here in spite of my fussing about it. LOL!

Oh, Kathy...I knew you were sick but didn’t know how bad it really was. Wish you’d let me know so I can deal with threads for you. YOU need to concentrate on getting well! Prayers for the two of you! (((hugs)))

Sorry to hear that your mom’s mobility, on top of everything else, is getting worse. Same with my MIL. She calls my hubby 1/2 the time to either help her into bed at night or to help her get up in the morning. And he has to drive to the facility she has an apartment in. I worry about her. She’s also stubborn about taking some of the meds she needs the most. *sigh*

Owlets are able to eat large pieces at an early age. Look how early they swallow whole mice. And owls don’t waste anything. It does make one a little gaggy when watching them eat. LOL!

We aren’t going out tomorrow night. Going to be too cold to sit in the beer garden and will still be raining off and on. I’ll be in fairly early. See ya then. Sleep well tonight.

He is a Godsend for sure. Just got all her pills done and she says she is cold and has a sore throat and a runny nose. And she woke up this morning with laryngitis. If it’s not one thing, it is several others. She swears by Contac...tomorrow a store run.

Finally got her enough pillows so she can sleep almost sitting up. Lying down closes her throat she said. Light is finally off.

Now it’s on again....she dropped her cough drop. We have lots, just get another one.

Oh no! Sounds like she’s catching a cold. I hope she doesn’t get as sick as you did. You came close to being in serious trouble.

I hope she doesn’t keep you up all night. You got a fairly decent sleep last night and could use more of that.

She does seem to be catching a cold. We are working on it. Thankfully I did not have a sore throat.

And today I got an air purifier set up in her room that I hope will help.

You had more than enough going on without having a sore throat.

Maybe she has a different strain of cold virus and it won’t get as bad as your did. Getting anywhere near pneumonia at her age could be very dangerous at her age. Dangerous enough for people our age.
