A retired NYPD lieutenant, two retired NYPD officers and a former Brooklyn Assistant District Attorney were arrested early Tuesday by FBI agents in connection with the issuance of gun licenses by the NYPD's licensing division, according to law enforcement sources familiar with the case.
The federal charges include bribery, extortion, making false statements and conspiracy, court papers say. The four men were arrested at their respective residences in Manhattan and Long Island, law enforcement sources said. Authorities allege they fast-tracked gun licenses and investigations.

The Ex-ADA John Chambers is a transsexual. This is one of the worst kept secrets in New York City's small gun community. Susan Chambers was the name of the former ADA...John Chambers is the name this individual goes by today. Only in the cesspool of New York City!
Isn’t it amazing that the Federal Charges surrounding the gun issue in NYC, is for the ISSUING of CCW permits.
Amazing.
That must have been one ugly woman before the change.
Bearded Lady from the Circus?
Further proof that gun control is much more about “control” than it is about guns.
It must be nice to be so GD powerful, you can sit there and choose who is given the right to protect themselves and who don't. And they you have to offer these assholes bribes and prizes so you can have the same right as they have?
Endless government corruption...Spit!
Mind your language, please; there are ladies present.
If hitlery had become president we would not even read this ... her people would have been paid off by his (or her) people. Gag.
It’s all about control of the law abiding AND taking your money.
This whole thing about assigning some asshole who takes bribes to divvy out who gets rights and who don’t, is beyond belief. In NY city’s case, you’re good to go and are afforded some security if your bribe is adequate.
God, why would someone CHOOSE to look like that? Baffles my mind.
This story cannot be true, they were cops and they do no wrong. Ever. Just ask your average Freeper, we have to wait for the full story to come out before jumping to any conclusions.
Law Enforcement are not our friends.
To paraphrase Richard Pryor,If I go hunting in the woods I’m taking him/her/it.Because he/she/it can scare some stuff out of the woods.
Yes it is, or at least it should be amazing.
A "transgendered" lesbian woman (now a "man") who is a corrupt cop gets caught accepting bribes as to who is allowed to defend their life via CCW permit and who is not.
We need out do-nothing, Trump hating, border wall non-funding, insider trading, GOP congress to get off their duffs and pass a National Reciprocity bill for Trump to sign that recognizes all CCW permits in all 50 states (including non-resident permits).
This news story should be fuel for the fire. Unfortunately, I have zero confidence that congress will do the right thing. They are acting worse than Democrats. I don't know what the hell they think they are doing, but they way their are going to they are going to lose both the House and the Senate. What a missed opportunity.
“Cesspool of NYC”? What do you base that on? A few bad apples? Even Boise, Idaho has some bad apples, that I can tell you. We have more of them than Boise though because we have way more people.
“This story cannot be true, they were cops and they do no wrong. “
These are the real “bad cops”. In this case taking bribes, extortion, ...or stealing dope from the evidence room... etc.
Big difference from the typical “race-card” motivated “excessive force” accusation.
More of just about everything except quiet and natural beauty.
And ice. Go Habs! :(
Who are you kidding? NYC is a large tumor infested cloaca with lots of greasy hairs.
Money & Perverts go together.
