I use to work in the city. There are so called “expediting services” for most everything New York City regulates including building permits. It’S noteworthy in this case because it’s handgun licensing.

Tell me about it, I grew up there and finally escaped 6 years ago. To call it a cesspool is an insult to cesspools. You couldn’t pay me enough to go back to that city, just merely thinking of going back gets me sick to my guts. The people there can all go F themselves in the worst way, their damn city was attacked were 3000 people were killed and STILL THEY overwhelmingly vote for the politician who most likely will clear the way for yet another 911. It is just one huge vomit pit of absolute psychopaths.
I had a NYC pistol and shotgun permit for years, and nobody tried to solicit any bribes from me, they just made me wait forever, and pay a lot of money to submit their stupid forms and get fingerprinted.
