Sean Hannity vows legal action after sexual harrassment accusation

Sean Hannity has vowed to sue a former guest of his program with "some of the finest and toughest lawyers in the country" after she accused the Fox News host of sexually propositioning her as allegations of sexual harassment continue to roil the network.

Conservative commentator Debbie Schlussel said in a Friday radio interview that Hannity once invited her back to his hotel room after an event at a Detroit bookstore.

"He had some event at a bookstore where he signed his book for people standing in line. He asked me to come meet him at this book signing," Schlussel told host Pat Campbell.

"So I met him there and it was very awkward. He had me stand up there with him while he signed books and I felt very weird. These people don't know me and they didn't come for me to sign their books. So then I left to get ready for the show and he said, 'Why don't you come back with me to my hotel?' and I said, 'No, I have to get ready for the show.'"

In a Monday interview, Schlussel clarified her remarks, saying that she didn't consider his conduct "sexual harassment" but still considered him "creepy."

Schlussel, 48, did not provide a date for the alleged conversation. Schlussel described another alleged incident of Hannity propositioning her after one of his programs, which she says she turned down.

“After that, I wasn’t booked on his show again. And he called me and yelled at me,” Schlussel said. “I got a very weird feeling about the whole thing, and I kind of knew I wouldn’t be back on his show.”

Hannity issued his own statement strongly denying the claims, calling them "a complete fabrication" by "a serial harasser."

Yeah, no joke, right?

There’s locals around town who go to the hotel restaurants and bars all the time. There are decent club scenes at local hotels. “Hey, wanna hit the bar down at the Hilton for awhile?” It’s COMMON! Who portrays such an invitation as proof positive of sexual motives except people who are projecting their own thought lives onto others??

...Schlussel clarified her remarks, saying that she didn't consider his conduct "sexual harassment"...

OK. If she did not use the actual phrase "sexual harassment", then who did? The media? If so, would not Hannity have a libel case against the news outlet(s) that did?

Sounds like Sean had a gun to her head to “force” her to do all of these things.

On a side note, what’s this I just saw on Drudge and Andrea Tantaros?

I agree they are liberal to the core, but I think they are learning if you pay out on sex scandals the beasts come of out the woodwork for more and that is the lesson (i think) they are learning. They most definitely want any conservative voice silenced but they know money is the mothers milk to make all the rest work.

If money from network and cable news was important to the elite rich globalists, then the NY Times, CNN, and all the rest would have become more balanced long ago.

The rich elite who run things are perfectly willing to have loss leaders ie propaganda outlets - it’s just a cost of staying in power.

O’Reilly’s sponsors bowed to pressure from Soros & others of that ilk, who used bots and other tactics to flood them with complaints and boycott crap. So that is where money entered into the equation.

Soros, Media Matters, and their ilk, clearly will continue to try to eliminate alternative sources of news. The CIA controls the major news outlets here and abroad. Already Google, Facebook, and You tube are acting to take down alternative news such as Drudge, Breitbart, etc.

Free Speech is under attack like I have never seen in my lifetime. Goebbels would be proud.

As far as settling lawsuits - that’s true, and it is also the reality of the system these days. The insurance companies will settle because it’s cheaper than fighting. Then the “news” can imply that the defendant was guilty, because they settled.
