( I Don't know the real value in this )
Vladimir Putins forces have been caught on camera heading towards the nation's 11-mile frontier with the DPRK.
Video shows a train packed with military equipment allegedly hurtling towards the border with the rogue state.
Russias actions come as tensions rage between North Korea and the US amid fears war could explode in the Korean Peninsula.
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
Russia is kinda big. I’d be surprised who they didn’t share a border with.
We come close to sharing a border up north at the Bering Strait!
Bering Strait - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bering_Strait
The Bering Strait is about 82 kilometres (51 mi) wide at its narrowest point, between Cape Dezhnev, Chukchi Peninsula, Russia, the easternmost point (169° 43’ W) of the Asian continent and Cape Prince of Wales, Alaska, United States, the westernmost point (168° 05’ W) of the North American continent.
Kim Il Sung came over the border from Russia after WW2 while claiming he was in Korea driving out the Japanese.
The Kims are the L Ron Hubbards of the East
You don’t need tanks for that.
Stupid video — does anyone really think that fat Boy is afraid of the US? the guy has not enough common sense to be afraid of anything.
Question here is..., is this China and Russia sending North Korea a message or the United States a message?
I’m sure Trump knows.
The Navy groups that were reported to be headed there, didn’t seem to have a large troop presence.
Thus the show of ground forces would seem to be Kim focused, and not U.S. focused.
Hopefully, Kim gets the message, providing it’s them sending one to him.
If it’s one to us, Kim will be emboldened.
I do know he was reported to be ready to set off a nuclear weapon last Sunday, and opted to attempt another launch instead.
That may be a tell-tale sign that China has had enough.
It is interesting the China and Russia are mobilizing.
If it’s to send a message to Kim, it would in this instance mean that the three powers, the U.S., China, and Russia were coordinating their actions against Kim, if only as a show of force.
If it’s against Kim, I’d sure like to see a repeat toward Iran.
The way Trump works Reminds me of the godfather in that and that not an insult
It like we are one of the big mob Families and China and Russia are the other two big mob families
Our Don had a meet with the other two families and said listen this little side operation you two have ...north korea and syria it’s causing friction...It’s bad for our mutual businesses .... we need you to take care of it to the keep peace between the families
No visitors in Chinese: 没有访客
It is worthwhile just to study maps every now and then. You can learn sone interesting things. Like how geography has affected human history. Almost as if the geography determined the history. Lol.
Exactly.
What do I think will happen? Kim will be assassinated, an internal 'rebellion' aimed at unification with the South will occur and the border will be peacefully dissolved. And then I woke up. LOL
Probably. But it is always better with Tanks.
The message is clear. You’re country will be obliterated. Cease to exist. You will be chopped into 6 pieces and scattered over the corners of the earth.
The tanks looked a little unfinished to me.
The US, China and Russia that is.
Scene from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
The common border is the Tumen River. There is only a rail crossing.
Russia and China know that the Kim family is unstable and unlikely to continue in power.
They are not interested in a ground war with S Korea or the US. Both want to occupy as much of N Korea as possible after the Kim’s are deposed.
They want to direct the next NORK government.
China particularly is interested in occupation because they have never been happy about ancient treaties blocking their access to the Sea of Japan. Korea formerly paid tribute to China and is still considered a part of greater China just like Viet Nam.
You see this?
More pressure!
It is nice to actually have hope for team work in the world again.
I can’t believe hard difficult it is for me to believe that countries can work in unison for a common cause.
It’s like I have PTSD or something, I feel like I am being deprogrammed from years of brain washing.
I would like to see Kim tossed, with a more moderate leader taking charge.
Part of that deal would see all nuclear and missile technology abandoned, turned over to outside people. China or Russia would be fine, just to get it all gone.
Then the North should focus on it’s people, improving their lives at once.
Then the North and South could negotiate any future developments.
less than an hour’s flight from Pyongyang to Vladivostok
Lots of North Korean tourists in Vladivostok
