( I Don't know the real value in this )
Vladimir Putins forces have been caught on camera heading towards the nation's 11-mile frontier with the DPRK.
Video shows a train packed with military equipment allegedly hurtling towards the border with the rogue state.
Russias actions come as tensions rage between North Korea and the US amid fears war could explode in the Korean Peninsula.

Kim is finally realizing he has no BFFs.
I don’t think he is “stunned” by anything, except perhaps a MOAB
I had to look it up.
Didn’t know the Rooskies shared a 10mi border with NK.

It’s been in the news that Russia was moving assets into that area. It makes sense to me even if these news sources are not often the best.
I’m feeling really stupid about now. I had NO IDEA Russia shares a border with North Korea. All-be-darned!
When google owns their own constellation of hi-res imagery satellites, we’ll be able to verify this sort of stuff on our own.
Russia is kinda big id be surprised who they dint share a border with
I think that is more of a message to us than a message to Fat Boy
Putin adding leverage.
With Trump!
Play nice with me Donald and I’ll give you a hand with the NK Loony Toon.

Can GOOGLE just use the camera’s in my smartphone and TV for that?
;-)
Well the question is..is it to help north korea or to Pressure north korea because Putin was talking like he was back in north korea for a little bit back
Bottom line if Trump has gotten both China and Russia to join in on Forcing north korea to back down ...
Well, if you’ve got military equipment, I suppose it would make sense to put that military equipment near to where there might be a problem.
It could be that Russia and China are with us or don’t want refugees streaming into their country.
It could also be that they are friendlier with North Korea.
I just remember back to the Tiananmen Square episode in China. The American Press were speculating that it was a fight between different units of the Chinese Army. Turns out the Chinese Army was more united than the American Press thought.
Thoughts? NK will kill LOTS of South Koreans, that is almost guaranteed. The U.S. can stop most of their BIG weaponry, but it's the smaller artillery (BOATLOADS of it) that is difficult to stop and South Korea would get bombarded.
Do any knowledgeable military people here care to speculate on what is LIKELY to happen here?
I did the same thing.
Russia is kinda big. I’d be surprised who they didn’t share a border with.
We come close to sharing a border up north at the Bering Strait!
Bering Strait - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bering_Strait
The Bering Strait is about 82 kilometres (51 mi) wide at its narrowest point, between Cape Dezhnev, Chukchi Peninsula, Russia, the easternmost point (169° 43’ W) of the Asian continent and Cape Prince of Wales, Alaska, United States, the westernmost point (168° 05’ W) of the North American continent.
No, it is a message to the North korean population. The Russians, nor the Chinese are going to set foot in Korea. However, they are going to have a big wall of people to keep the North Koreans from taking a Walk-about into their countries. This is a BIG “No visitors welcome” sign.
