Conservative talk show host, Michael Savage, who fervently supported Trump during the Presidential campaign, soured on him today. Savage, referencing his background in science, having a PhD in epidemiology, said the alleged gas attack in the ISIS controlled city of Idlib was most likely phosgene and not sarin.
Backing up his claim that the attack did not contain sarin, Savage made reference to photos showing first responders attending to bodies without gloves or protective gear. Had sarin been used in the attack, all of those men in white helmets would be dead.
In nearly a 15 minute soliloquy over the attack, Savage lamented that the neocon 'military tweet' by Trump was a ploy to increase his popularity, in light of falling poll numbers. Verbosely, Savage hemmed and hawed with disappointment, dispirited that he spent over a year advocating for Trump, who said he eschewed the interventionist policies of people like McCain, Graham, and Schumer, only to cave in shortly after winning the Presidency.
Savage also questioned the timing of Jared Kushner's trip to Iraq, coupled with Bannon's timely demotion from the NSC -- just ahead of the attacks as being highly suspicious.
"This whole thing stinks to high heaven,' said Savage. Furthering his criticism of the President, Savage proclaimed: "It looks like Hillary, deep state won, and Trump is doing her bidding."
As it pertained to who was responsible for the attack, Savage reminded his audience that just last week Putin was considered to be the smartest and most diabolical man on earth. If so, why on earth would he permit Assad to launch a chemical weapons attack, when they had already defeated the rebels, which was sure to turn public opinion against them?
"Why would he do it, you morons you?", said Savage.
Who are we supporting? According to Lindsey Graham, the 'free Syrian army.'
Savage exploded: "The free Syrian Army? There is no such thing. The free Syrian Army are our moderate terrorists created by the CIA and John McCain. John McCain and Lindsey Graham are the mouthpieces for this army of murderers."
"The west jumped to a conclusion, before there was any investigation."
A must listen to a voice of reason.
I’m not convinced either.
It makes no sense for Assad to use them now that the tide of US policy was turning in his favor.
The administration is saying they have proof, but I would really like to see it.
I am only giving Trump the benefit of the doubt here because I trust him - not the rest of the government.
Hmmmm. Well, it is possible since according to rice n kerry the ‘ass-ad’ folks turned in all their “DECLARED” gas stockpiles. Maybe the “undeclared” stuff got pilfered.
To clarify- I trust Trump, but I do not trust the people who gave him information-
What would happen if he found they lied to him? I strongly suggest immediate jail time.
“A must listen to voice of reason.”

I agree...but many hear have closed their ears...and eyes....and minds... in a kind of almost religious fervor.
So Savage chooses to believe Syria over Trump because of the gear first repsonders were wearing? Does even even understand that the concentrations of the gas is likely more chlorine based with trace sarin.
The real story is that the Obama admin lied about Syria getting rid of chemicals, but hey, lets eat our own over a successful show of force.
Agreed. None of this makes sense. We are trusting ISIS and Syrian “rebels” to give us credible intelligence? The people who absolutely hate Trump are suddenly supporting this action? What tactical advantage is gained using chem weapons if Assad’s troops aren’t marching in?
I am not sure I see the difference being dead from phosgene or sarin.
LOL
This is the airbase that we hit. Those are almost certainly military grade protective containers full of binary chemical weapons strewn about. There they are. That's what we hit. We have all become skeptical and untrusting of the government and rightfully so but this looks pretty legitimate to me.
Yeah, I know. I hope the proof they say they have they have.
This seems to be one of those many cases where there are no good guys, so the strike on Syria was just as legitimate as any attack on ISIS.
I’m with ol’ Weiner here.
A few feckless missiles being shot out is a favorite distraction strategy of US presidents. Trump’s came with advance warning to make sure that nobody was hurt. So we spent about $60M to do maybe $20M of damage that Syria and Russia will have patched up and replaced within the week.
And somehow we think the Chicoms, Norks, etc., are so stupid that they will see this as a threatening signal that will reduce them to obedience?
Oh, and we somehow alerted Russia, multiple Middle Eastern countries, etc.—even Cernovich was reporting on it hours in advance, for God’s sake!—but we really expect the Chinese were in the dark on it?
Where was ISIS attacked. I missed that one. Please enlighten me.
Those containers sure look intact, without signs of release, to me.
Those are almost certainly military grade protective containers full of binary chemical weapons strewn about.
Those are peculiar looking containers. Is that sort of weapon that primitive? It looks like you drop it, it explodes on contact, and mixes whatever is in the two separate cylinders.
IIRC, if it is the same video, per some earlier comments in related threads, the video in question pre-dates the ‘sarin attack’.
But remember when there was speculation that Iraq shipped all their stuff and buried it in Syria? Who knows...
I don't think it's eat our own totally, but maybe you are right. Is it okay to question especially since the reaction was so swift? Maybe not. But I know, damned if he did, damned if he didn't.
soetoro had 8 yes to embed the upper levels of the military and intelligence with islamic sympathizers, commies, poofters and other lefties.
