The Senate has cast enough votes to confirm Neil Gorsuch, a 49-year-old federal judge who could help cement a conservative majority on the bench for decades, to the Supreme Court, according to a CNN count of the vote.

Yes, that's surely true. But at 84 and not in the best of health, her “wall” is very close. And actually, she's staying on for her own “purposes” and not for any good she will do her country. She is not unlike the Congressmen and Senators who are Octogenarians who have been in office for 30 or 40 years. Like them, she's delusional in thinking that somehow she has something to contribute to the well being of our country.
Anthony Kennedy will likely retire this summer setting up another possible conservative appointment. Ginsberg could be another possibility. Only God knows for sure.

I just hope the RINOs have the stones to vote in a true conservative that can truly tip the court for decades. The establishment loves their status quo though.
Yes, and we have to hope that Gorsuch doesn’t turn out to be a disappointment like too many justices appointmented by Republican presidents. So I won’t assume conservatives really have won this round until we see some rulings by this guy.
And they must consider Gorsuch to not be the next Kennedy, another dubious assertion.
Pirro looks to be in good health though. Especially in the chestal area.
Would that be the same conservative tilt that legalized same-sex marriage? The left defining conservatism downward again.
No more female Justices. They’re equivocal and rule emotionally, not necessarily constitutionally.
When did Ross Perot go trans?
When did Ross Perot go trans?
Trump just did replace Kennedy. Now we have to hope that Kennedy retires and Trump can replace Scalia.
LOL...Weekend at Ginsburg’s.
That’s also how the fairer sex votes in elections.
Yes, guess we’ll have to wait & see...
YES!!
(I needed this good news again today. Keeping a close eye on the Bannon vs Kushner rumors. It’s still unclear what, if anything, is true about this. But I’m holding my breath)
I’ve only heard of one issue Roberts ever ruled wrong on, and it’s not one that dealt with any “living” Constitutional reinterpretation, which are the issues where the left really kills us with the court.
Alito seems the most Scalia-like of the current justices to me, including the newbie who studied under Kennedy and belongs to a freaky liberal church. Alito is underrated.
Now the Dems will oppose everything!
Will stop playing nice!
As Thurgood Marshall was reputed to have said, “prop me up and keep me votin’.”
Well we are back to 4 against 4 with Kennedy back to being the most powerful guy in the nation as the one who goes which ever way he wants to go. We desperately need three more younger conservatives, replacing our guys. I know they are wonderful justices, but they are old and we need to replace them while Trump is in there. If we could get four solid younger ones, and if just one commie has to quit, Trump or Pence maybe 8 years from now, could put in that 5, with mighty luck, even a 6th conservative. Geese, that is wishful thinking ain’t it, six conservatives on the Supremes. That would be too stinking grand.
Schuck on Chuck the Schmuck. The next SCOTUS judge will only need 51. Sucks to be Chucks.
