A disturbing online video shows a straphanger wedged between subway doors from the neck up as passersby casually walk past her on the platform.
The woman found herself caught in between the doors of a No. 4 train at around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday as the train reached the end of the line at the Woodlawn station in the Bronx, transit sources said.
Apparently realizing too late that the train was at its last stop and had already emptied out, the woman rushed for the doors and became trapped, sources said.
The woman, who was standing inside the train car, can be seen in the video with her head and her black and white bag stuck between the two doors.

It was probably her lawyer filming it.
It says that a subway worker said he’d go and get someone to open the door. That would explain why she’s not moving or asking for help. She’s just trying to put up with it until the doors open.
Hold the door open for a female, get reamed.
Lesson learned.

It could be worse. Imagine a man in that position - in one of San Francisco’s BART trains.
Nothing new. When I was a kid, some guy got his leg stuck in the doors as the train took off. Back then, there wasn’t any system to keep the conductor from leaving with doors ajar. He rode, with his leg hanging outside from 14th street up to 23rd.
Who cares?
Why would the doors stay shut like that?
There should be a sensor that would detect an object and would open when the train is not moving.
That is not even human.
I don't mean to pick on anyone's home or pride or sense of belonging.
But that is not living.
Anger, drugs, hate, murder, etc....some of that I can comprehend.
But a lady with a stuck noggin, and people walking by like it's not there...that s--- is subhuman, man...
