Susan Rice, former President Barack Obama's national security adviser, reportedly requested on several occasions the identities of "masked" U.S. persons in intelligence reports linked to President Trump's transition and campaign. The revelation contradicts Rice's past comments on March 22, when she claimed she knew "nothing" about the intelligence reports.
White House lawyers discovered Rice's dozens of requests last month, during a National Security Council review of the "government's policy on ‘unmasking' the identities of individuals in the U.S. who are not targets of electronic eavesdropping, but whose communications are collected incidentally," Eli Lake of Bloomberg reported Monday, citing U.S. officials.
But Rice, who Newsweek once called Obama's "right-hand woman," denied during a PBS interview last month having any knowledge of the intelligence community's alleged incidental surveillance of Trump's transition team.

In this case, Congress is indifferent, the Attorney General has recused himself, there is no deputy AG and no Solicitor General, and the media is committed to a coverup.

I believe you are wrong about Sessions. He took himself out of the game in regards to investigation of any Russian involvement in the election. This has NOTHING to do with the Russians.

they disgust me and this will be their ruin, I don’t know if what they did was illegal. Many experts are saying it wasn’t. It was just very unusual and wrong.

Dubya didn’t pardon him but he did commute his prison sentence. He should have pardoned him though. What a farce that whole thing was.
I’m sure she believes she’s not lying. Pol-speak allows one to “maintain a narrative until confronted by new facts”. Different than lying, and better, if you believe that the stupid public will never learn new facts. That’s where her wagon broke... probably once out of 500 ...
I think she just believes there’s no trail back to her. These PhD types rarely grasp digital log-files and how they work. They have an entire listing of her being logged on, and each time she requested a unmasking...that’s recorded in the log-file. It’s a fairly open and shut case if they just stick to the unmasking effort and why her duty required such information.
If I were her....I’d be sitting with a lawyer and discussing what kind of deal I could make and who I might be able to dump information about....to get out of this mess. Awful stupid behavior for someone to get into.
