DEVELOPING: At least 12 people were killed and three injured in a head-on crash Wednesday between a church bus and pick-up truck in southwest Texas, officials said.
Uvalde County officials confirmed to KABB/WOAI-TV that "multiple people" were killed in the collision on U.S. Highway 83 near Garner State Park, about 75 miles west of San Antonio.

The scene is strange. Heavy tire marks for truck start on the edge of a large shoulder right before orange sign in one pic.
Maybe he was about to hit the sign..braked ..but the heavy marks are a straight line towards the van perpendicular to road
>>Tt begs the question if God is in control. It is my believe that God is very real and very removed from us.
God let his own Son die because it had to happen. People die and it often doesn’t make sense why they did. Suffering doesn’t happen because God is removed from us. It happens because the world is imperfect.
And you are WRONG! God is not removed from us. Why have a God if He is not around? Evil, STUFF happens in this world. We live in a FALLEN world because of the curse which came upon creation as a result of the fall of man in the garden!!! Good grief. You act like God is just sitting there waiting for something to happen so you can complain about it. YES!!! God allows things to happen. Kind of like He ALLOWS YOU to MAKE the decision of whether to accept Him or deny Him!!! Man, you need to desperately spend some knee time. You need to be talking to God more if you think He is withdrawn and not paying attention. Evil will be here until He returns for His bride and then deals with this world at the end of the Tribulation.
I vehemently disagree. God does not drive your car.If you think so,close your eyes at the next intersection with lights and accelerate with your right foot. God is two things. He created everything and he gave us his Son to save us if we only believe that. Otherwise , I want you to explain to me what happened today. Be very clear and not obfuscating.
An area resident was behind one of the vehicles involved and said she called law enforcement in Uvalde
and Real counties to report reckless driving. Before help arrived, however, the crash happened.
Maybe try re-reading Retired Army's comment. If you don't know what happened today, you should also try reading the Bible cover-to-cover. Then, start over and do it again.
Short video of scene that appears to be taken from a helicopter.
One can only hope they were all illegals or islam trash.
Am I to believe that that the world in which Jesus lived became free of man’s folly because of his presence and preaching? Hardly. His words, acts and miracles were to posit the notion of God’s presence on earth. Today, as then, each human has the option of believing this or not. That tragedy in this world exists today has nothing to do with God’s very real presence in this same world some 2000 years ago.
>begs the question if God is in control. It is my believe that God is very real and very removed from us.
If a good god was in control of all fate of innocents, none would be harmed.
Infinity does not allow for all to be covered at the same time.
'Unimaginable tragedy': 12 dead, 3 hurt in church bus crash near Garner State Park
Prayers up.

This surprises me, from the look of the wreckage it just looks like the driver was dead.
I don’t want this to be taken the wrong way because I think all children of God are precious but I had rather it be senior citizens than little children.
If I had to guess, I bet most of the senior citizens who were there would agree.
I understand what you’re saying. I saw one report that the bus riders were elderly women. Elderly crash victims are at a higher risk of mortality. Plus, speed limit there is 70 mph. The truck driver was driving a heavy duty pickup. F=m(a). NTSB is investigating. If seat belts were in use, not sure that there’s much more that can be done to improve survivability other than reduce the speed limit.
Correct in my view. There are 7.2 billion souls on earth . over 5 billion are dead. only 1.4 billion believe in God. The rest go to oblivion, which is “hell” . God does not intervene in our lives at all. He never intervened in His Son’s brutal death although Jesus begged Him to do that. But He is there in our DNA and creation. Things happen because things happen. I will never argue that God can’t intervene— But I will posit that He does not intervene. If he does, I have never seen that manifestation. EVER. If you do,film it on your Iphone and get the audio recordings. By the way. What is Heaven like?
Assuming every one on the bus was saved and belonged to the Lord, He took them to Glory today.
The Bible is clear on the fact that God is the Sovereign of the universe and everything in it is subject to Him.
God has a perfect will and a permissive will, and we’re not going to always understand His permissive will... what He allows to take place in the world.
Remember, God is working on a bigger picture than we are.
A good example of our perspective versus God’s perspective is found in the book of Job.
Read what that godly man suddenly went through... lost his family, lost his possessions, and lost his health... within hours!
Humanly speaking, it was an injustice, unbefitting the God of love. However, in the book of Job, we get to see behind the scenes the decision-making process of God Almighty Himself. And when God later confronts Job over his questioning His sovereignty in life and death matters, the Lord never gives Job a explanation for his suffering. (Most Bible scholars believe the Book of Job was written by Moses on Mount Sinai.)
God may not drive your car for you, but He decides if it will be the means by which He takes you Home.
