Schumer Causes Scene At NYC Restaurant, Yells Donald Trump is ‘A Liar’

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) reportedly caused a scene at a New York City restaurant on Sunday, where he was seen yelling at a wealthy and well-connected supporter of President Donald Trump, calling Trump "a liar."

Schumer was dining at Upper East Side restaurant Sette Mezzo Sunday night with friends, according to Page Six. During the dinner, Schumer encountered former secretary of health, education, and welfare under President Jimmy Carter and domestic policy adviser to President Lyndon B. Johnson, Joseph A. Califano Jr.

Califano was dining with his wife Hilary, the daughter of the founder and current chairman of CBS. Hilary voted for Trump, but her husband is a well-known Democrat.

An onlooker said that Califano complimented Schumer on what he has done with health care, and then joked about how his wife voted for Trump. Schumer then began yelling, "She voted for Trump!"

Schumer reportedly followed the couple outside, where he yelled, "How could you vote for Trump? He’s a liar!"

Hilary confirmed the incident to Page Six.

"Sen. Schumer was really rude . . . He’s our senator, and I don’t really like him. Yes, I voted for Trump. Schumer joined us outside and he told me Trump was a liar. I should have told him that Hillary Clinton was a liar, but I was so surprised I didn’t say anything," she said.

But according to a spokesman for Schumer, nothing dramatic occurred.

"[He] and his wife ate at the café on Sunday, engaging in unremarkable conversation with patrons who approached their table. There were no heated exchanges with ‎anyone."

Here are some serious ways older persons can be abused:

Emotional Abuse: causing mental anguish and despair by name calling, or by insulting, ignoring, threatening, isolating, demeaning, and controlling behavior.
They should file a complaint against him.

Hillary Califano (nee Paley) is the daughter of William Paley who's been dead since 1990. Current chairman of CBS is Les Moonves.

Schmucky Choomer is one of those Big city Democrats whose seat is guaranteed. Therefore he has become an obnoxious attack dog against The president, Republican party and 1/2 of the country. Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, John Leahy (despicable), Durbin is irritating, Schiff is really starting to bug me, The list is long...

Califano wrote years ago about how Carter would have meetings with groups of citizens. They would tell Carter their concerns, and Carter, with furrowed brow, would fill page after page of a legal pad with notes. The instant the concerned citizens left the room, the pages of notes went in the waste basket.

Yes, the behavior of these grown men and the hatred they have of Trump still, is just not natural. After all, why would Trump being president affect their cozy lives in a normal situation.

Since he's not a member of the "club", he's not going to be looking out for fellow "club" members the way a politician would. I'd really like to see him go on the offensive, though, to terrify the corrupt.

No, Schumer’s father should have used a condom!

So many things about this story that have nothing to do with the actual incidednt that make one go “really?” First there is a reference to a “wealthy and well-connected supporter of President Donald Trump”….Who is this person? First we get introduced to Joseph Califano who we’re reminded was the “secretary of health, education, and welfare under President Jimmy Carter and domestic policy adviser to President Lyndon B. Johnson”. So is this the “wealthy and well-connected supporter of President Trump”? That seem rather odd… but then apparently Schumer is told by Joseph that his “wife voted for Trump.” So is she the “wealthy and well-connected supporter of President Donald Trump”? Or are they now both Trump supporters?
We’re told in one of the other articles that Califano is 85 years old…. and in this article that his wife is the daughter of the founder and current chairman of CBS. A quick ixquick shows that his wife’s maiden name was Hilary Paley and her father was William Paley who was born in 1901. He died in 1990. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_S._Paley Well, we do know that CBS news operates as if the organization is chaired by somebody who is actually dead…. At least from the neck up.

I suspect the Democrats are worried that things are now going to start coming out.

Carter was also reported to have been carrying his own
(empty) luggage and (empty) garment bags from the White
House to impress regular people. I reckon he has been doing
a good work in Habitat for Humanity and at the Carter
Library in “conflict resolution” IF you’re a Palestinian
and not a JEW! According to Rosalyn, when they left
Washington, they couldn’t even afford a decent fridge in
order to keep their ice-cream frozen & could only keep
ice-cream half-frozen. (Surely, the half-million annual
salary they’ve been drawing should be enough to get a
new “energy efficient” model.)

Surely Schumer has the shortest alligator arms in any restaurant. I’ve seen it for myself at the Stella restaurant on Jericho Turnpike sitting in opposite tables.

Chuckie is a CLASSLESS A$$!

Last summer I went to Yankee Stadium with 2 of my fellow Teamster buddies. We were in section 208, 2nd deck just on foul side of the foul pole 1st base side. We had stand up to let two guys get to their seats to left of us, 5 seats down in the same row. A few minutes later I looked over and noticed one of them was Chuckie Schumer.

They were both wearing NYPD polo shirts in Bermuda shorts. It was hot, about 95 degrees. Chuckie took off his shoes and put is feet up on the seat in front of him. I told my friends who that guy was in our row. They never heard of him (we are from CT) and not political. I told him he was a Senator from NY. One of my buddies replied to me looking at Chucks bare feet," Well then he must own the place"(Yankee Stadium). We busted out laughing.

Minutes later, Schumers buddy went to get some beers, as he walked by me on the way back I asked if that is Senator Schumer. He said "Yes it is, come over and say Hi.

By that time his daughter and her husband sat in the seats between us. I did not want to bother him because family was there. Nobody was glad handing him during the game and there was no security detail. Only one other person recognized him and he high fived him as he left after the 8th inning. Yankees lost the game to the Red Sox.

His bare feet on the seat in front of him showed what kind of class he has.
