I really hope the GOP does not go this route.
This in my view, is the only way I can think of, to squander the goodwill Trump has with the American people, and hand the whole thing back to democrats once again.
If that happens, and there is not a Donald Trump around again, the GOP is completely history.
Done.
In my view.
Elaborate, you make no sense.
*uck off commie.
I can’t recall people dying on the streets before Obamacare was enacted.
How about providing some reasoning to your opinion?
Thank you
He and the Republican majorities were elected to repeal, abolish, cut, slash, rip out by the roots and burn all this big government socialist/globalist crap and salt the earth so it can never rise again. Failing to do so makes them and us, our posterity, and America herself the big losers.
Respectfully disagree.
Repeal is step 1.
After that is done, there need to be some changes made in the insurance industry. For starters, allow sales across state lines. It’s the only industry I know of where that is prohibited.
Second, stop penalizing the self-insured by gouging them for medical treatment. The uninsured should not have to pay higher prices to subsidize the insurance companies and the insured.

I am currently in Vietnam.
Please be aware I was previously posting as Cringing Negativism Network.
Someone just discovered I was here under a new login,
and suggested I say that here.
So, here I am. :D
How about you write me a check for the extra $10k Crap Care is costing me each year.
The demonrats have no goodwill toward anything that’s not in their agenda. Their allies in the news media are lying about the support of the American people toward Obamacare and will continue to spew their hatred of Trump no matter what he does.
Dec. 31, 2017 is about right-—can get open markets time to do their COMPETITIVE things.
Why should hard working Americans have to work 2 and 3 jobs just to pay for health insurance for themselves AND OTHER PEOPLE?
Because that is what is happening NOW. Premiums are high because we pay for those who won’t pay. We are sick and tired of paying to the point of becoming poor ourselves in order to subsidize others. ENOUGH. The People are beyond FED UP.
Well, I’d assess your view as pretty short-sighted.
O’care is going down. Like TITANIC it’s going down.
The media will NEVER give positive press to ANYTHING the GOP does in this regard, so may as well lay down a deadly spread of torpedoes and send O’care to Davey Jones with all hands.
Any move that ensures that while giving people who are in it some measure of time to transition to a boat with a future — THAT’S a good move; an act of MERCY, truth be known.
After O’care’s lights go out of sight; THEN discussion can commence as to what measures to take — principally the removal of government regulations, I’d think — that will enable a vibrant, competitive (pronounced “lower cost”) medical insurance marketplace.
That suite of simple acts would NOT “squander the goodwill Trump has with the American people”; it would EXPONENTIATE it! When people see that their out-of-pocket care costs, and their insurance costs plummeting — there’s NO WAY Main Street America would hold that against Trump. The media would try to make them, but folks would defy them just like they defied the media when they voted Trump into the White House in the first place.
There’s no “third rail” here. This bill should be heavily sponsored and go to the floor for a resounding “YEA!”
What a great big pile of stinkin' MALE BOVINE SCAT
What are you doing in Vietnam?
