The author’s basic premise here is B.S. The Freedom Caucus opposed RyanCare simply because it would have been politically disastrous for them to support it. It would have damaged President Trump if it had passed, too.

>> These people held out for the impossible — full repeal of Obamacare in one fell swoop

We can barely get a single decent piece of legislation let alone a complex repeal process that requires 3 phases.

Ryan and team RINO set themselves up for failure.

Obamacare is on life support for now - just revisit the damn health care bill later - I’m tired of this “we didn’t pass the pos bill so now were stuck” argument. It is a bunch of BS. I’d rather Congress do nothing then saddle us with more socialism and promises in phase 2 and 3.

These people held out for the impossible — full repeal of Obamacare in one fell swoop —

This is the ONLY possible step. We know what happens when the tax increases are immediate, and spending cuts promised later.

REPEAL NOW. Complete.

It can’t be coincidence that everyone upset this bill failed is using the language of abusers to lash out.

Anyone bashing the Freedom Caucus should go on the list of swamp creatures that need to be drained out.

Right on. Amazed at how many here are just as gleeful as the Democrats, liberals and Hollywood.

It sickens me, but you can all be happy and celebrate with Hillary.

It’s easy to just say ‘repeal and replace’, but the reality is it will take time to disentangle ourselves from Obamacare. This was a step forward, but you Freedom Caucus schmucks have seen to it that we are stuck with O-care.

Hillary, Obama, Schumer thanks you.

And this is "impossible" why?

Also, the author is a “health care consultant”, AKA part of the swamp himself.

AHCA was pulled from the floor yet again this afternoon, and it now is probable that Obamacare will be the law of the land for years to come.

Odd. I was not under the impression that President Trump was the type to give up at the first setback. Perhaps I'm wrong, and he became a billionaire by being a quitter, but I think it is more likely that he will come back to this issue with more leverage later. I hope he will have a better bill when he does "we tried it your way, RINOs, but that failed, and the best practical option is to repeal Obamacare completely."

The author, David Catron, is either naive or working for the anti-American side. That would be the Demon-krats and Globalist Republicans.

It is well known that the ACA was meant to cripple the economy and virtually erase the middle class. Multitudes cannot any longer get decent care, even if they can afford it.

This is not to mention the encroachment of government on our lives.

Thank God for the Freedom Caucus.

The author is an idiot. The law did not repeal the mandate. lain' ryan was being too clever by half when he thought he could slip in a zero percent fine, excuse me, "tax", but leave all the IRS machinery in place so that they could then raise the rate after the fact. Face it, the bill was a fascist's dream.

The correct action would have been to simply put up one of the very same bills which they all voted for already, but which homobama vetoed. The very same repeal bill. No excuses. These RINO POsS have their names attached to prior repeal bills. If they voted yeas last year, why not yea this year?

The faggoty mewling by the RINOs that they can't do anything now, that they seemed to be perfectly able to do last year is sickening.

Gope.. you can take your veterans backstabbing bill and shove it. What bill that punishes veterans and coddle illegals is good for you. And don’t even get me started on the you have to pass it to know what’s in it bs. Thanks to Rep Meadows for highlighting the management amendment and revealing these trips for who they really are. Choosing illegals over veterans is wrong. Every time. What’s next, amnesty?
At least Ryan might get deposed.
