A no vote on RYANcare/GOPcare is a vote FOR constitutional government.
Obamacare, RYANcare, RINOcare, GOPcare, Hillarycare, Trumpcare or ANY form of federal government mandated health care package is UNCONSTITUTIONAL! The constitution clearly reserves health care and health care insurance to the states and the PEOPLE!
The founders did not establish the federal government to be a charity or to "care for" the personal needs of the citizens. The founders never intended to create a welfare state! The constitution was intended to severely RESTRICT the powers of the federal government and to leave most governing powers to the states and the PEOPLE! The power to mandate or provide or control health care or health care insurance is not delegated to the federal government by the constitution, therefore it's reserved by the 10th amendment to the states and the people.
If theye looking to blame someone, blame it on the founders. Blame it on the constitution.
The bill is wrong. Remember the tea party? For seven long years weve been demanding and voting for Republicans on a nationwide basis to repeal the unconstitutional big government socialist Obamacare. We do not want to replace it with a Republican brand of unconstitutionalism. We want it repealed, dead and gone, ripped out by the roots and the ground salted so it can never rise again.
Free markets or bust!
NO federal mandates or tinkering of any kind!
If the Republicans pass this POS, then unconstitutional federal government intrusion and mandates will be here forever (or until the rebellion anyway).
Passing this GOPcare bill sends the signal that government healthcare (some form of nationalized healthcare, socialism, single payer, etc) is perfectly fine by both major political parties and its just a matter of time before the democrats retake power and ram through universal single payer socialism.
Pass it and freedom is dead.
Just heard Paul Ryan on the radio .....sounds like it’s dead Jim!
Thank you Jim. Spot on.
Amen! Bravo Freedom Caucus.
The bill is DEAD...at least for now and hopefully forever.
Hopefully that takes care of Ryan. People forget that Boehner was removed because he was too far to the left...then what happens, Ryan snakes his way to the top, while everyone knows he is even FURTHER LEFT. Ryan was a mistake from the start and hopefully Republicans figure that out sooner than later.
I agree, and all the RINOs among them.
YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s dead Jim....
Ryan is still referring to it as the Obamacare repeal bill.
Man that guy is dense. He thinks he can slip that by. Ah NO!
I’m with you Jim. So are 40 House Republicans.
197 Leftist Republicans were willing to support this.
We get a list of the 40, and primary every one of the rest.
Preach it Brother!
House Republicans, short of votes, withdraw health care bill - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3537790/posts
AMEN!
They pulled the bill and denied members the opportunity to vote no.
Pass a simple bill mandating all members of Congress and federal workers sign up for Obamacare within 60 days. Mandatory, no exceptions. Republicans, democrats and independents. Let them enjoy “the marketplace”. Then make some popcorn.
I’d like to see President Trump lead:
- Articulate why Obamacare in particular is bad.
- Articulate why excessive government involvement in general in our medical care is bad.
- Articulate why the constitutionally correct answer is for the states and especially for the people to make all the decisions that Obamacare tried to make at the federal level.
Then tell Ryan to call for another vote on a pure repeal.
Can’t recall ever disagreeing with you Jim, but you’re wrong here. Now they wont even be able to confirm a judge in GD Samoa. It’s all over. They’ll never get a Dem vote for anything. Ever. You think Taxes will pass now? Someone else will just take the place of Brat, Jordan and Meadows.Kaput.
Everything’s dead except Obamacare. Trump is moving on
“NO federal mandates”
no mandates, state or federal
State mandates for prescription drugs caused the pre-existing condition problems.
Since neither state or federal governments will help me, a Floridian aged 58, would they please get out of the way of insurance companies that might choose to offer a product I can afford.
The brutal rules and taxes and penalties won’t just go away.
The healthcare.gov site will fall on its own.
But the other things have to be repealed or the brutal taxes the kids being covered till 26 and a bunch of other things will stay.
I fear it won’t die. It will linger and fester.
Repeal it.
Don’t replace it. You’re right.
Republicans are the single most worthless, self destructive group I know.
Too many are bought and sold.
STOP open primaries!!
Get behind ONE conservative and don’t split the vote!!
Only way to start winning primaries for conservatives.
