Secret Service were afraid their dogs would attack “Bo” an “Obama beloved pet”

Where is Bo while Odumbass is on vacation in Tahiti?

Sensors might need to be replaced because they are overly sensitive and always going off or if they are malfunctioning, a knowledgeable source said. Another said that area was particularly prone to false alarms because of birds landing on the fence-line and tripping the sensors.

Here’s an idea. An electrified fence. How hard is that?

In today’s world, how can that happen... Are there no camera systems that detect large objects crawling over a fence? It can’t be that hard to create some pattern recognition software that looks at video for changes in objects in the image.

On the other hand, if it doesn’t exist, maybe I should start a patent.

You realize that Indira Ghandi was killed by her own security forces. Now the basturd Secret Service lets Tran stroll around the White House grounds, look in the window and jiggle the handle? Whose side are they on?

When did they remove the sensors?

Was this 3 years ago or just after Trump won?

A dog from the K-9 unit was only called in after the man was detained, in order to inspect the backpack for explosives. Secret Service officers involved were alarmed when the dog sat by the backpack — a signal that it had detected explosive materials, one source said.

Shall we conclude from the false positive that the dog was borrowed from the drug-detection unit, where they nearly always "alert" whether there's anything or not.

If I didn’t know better, I might start to think that some members of the Secret Service are playing for the other side. If something happens to President Trump, I expect the conservative response to get VERY ugly.

Without getting into specifics, there are several detection systems that are easy to install, very difficult to spoof or defeat, and are not prone to false detection due to wildlife.

These government boobs need to be fired right now, and competent, non AA employees hired to do this very important work.

There was a Hollywood movie. About taking over the White House.

The attackers used three busses. Trucks. Miniguns. Inside turncoats. And a plane. Along with a company sized attack force.

I think the movie might have vastly overstated the force needed to breach.

New plot....one guy and a backpack.

Secret Service director to step down, giving Trump a chance to select his own security chief
February 14

Both the Obama administration and congressional Republicans hoped Clancy could shore up the Secret Service by boosting morale and rapidly hiring enough agents and officers to keep up with a flood of departures and early retirements.

On that score, he struggled.

In the 2016 employee survey, the service ranked dead last among all federal agencies for employee satisfaction, 305 out of 305.

Clancy sought to speed up a cumbersome hiring process. In 2015, 416 people retired or resigned from the agency, but only 78 new employees came aboard, according to a federal workforce report. The agency said it picked up the pace last year, hiring 700.

So how does a WashEx reporter get information that sensors were removed by the SS?

Fake news or real?

Seriously, how would such info be “delivered” to the reporter and by whom???

So the SS, whose primary mission is to protect the President and has nearly unlimted resources, is unable to devise a security system that detects human intruders but ignores bird, squirrels and other small animals? What kind of freaking stupidity is at work here?

I don’t understand what the controversy is on how to repair the shortcomings of the Secret Service and especially this event. Fire everyone who was responsible. The average sheriff’s office across the country can do better without any specialized training.

It seems to me that an effort is being made to establish in the public’s mind that trespassing into the White House is inevitable, an act of nature.
