Chelsea Clinton was named to the board of Expedia — you know, because all of her experience in the technology and cybersecurity field.
In her newly named position, Mrs. Clinton will get $45,000 a year in cash, plus $250,000 a year in stock vesting over three years. What Mrs. Clinton’s responsibilities will be at the online travel-booking company is unclear — the company’s financial filings don’t detail.
Expedia’s chairman, billionaire Barry Diller, is a longtime Clinton ally and prolific fundraiser for the political family. During the 2016 presidential campaign, Mr. Diller and his wife Diane von Furstenberg hosted a “Conversation and Dinner with Hillary Clinton,” with tickets priced at $100,000 per couple.
Mr. Diller has collected 54 percent of Expedia’s voting shares, so he’s single-handedly able to alter its board from 13 to 14 people to accommodate the younger Clinton. And he’s done it before.
Mr. Diller is also chairman of IAC Interactive, and invited Chelsea to sit on its board four years ago. In that position, Mrs. Clinton earns $50,000 in cash a year, and $249,936 in stock.
Chelsea started her career working for management consulting firm McKinsey & Company and investment firm Avenue Capital Group. She ditched those jobs for a cozy $600,000 a year gig reporting for NBC News, where she conducted hard-hitting interviews with the likes of Geico’s gecko.

I would say she is a grifter just like her parents er Web Hubbell.
#1 - if she is still married, I wish people would call her by her married name - or at least hyphenated with her married name.
#2 - I said before, this is perfect for her .. because this way she can travel all over the world for free .. especially since the Clinton Foundation is not around to support her anymore.
So Barry Diller has named Chelsea to two different board seats at two different companies. It’s his money and he can do what he wants. He’s clearly decided he wants to make Bill and Hillary’s kid rich. But it’s pretty tacky. For someone who just can’t find an interest in money, Chelsea is doing ok as a kept woman.

Her family has appeared that way to me for decades. Except for the moving around party, they’re just ordinary gypsies.
They did float around from Arkansas to Washington, D. C., to New York, but that is sort of normal for ex-presidents and their families.
The thing is, they combine it with influence peddling and special case hires for very lucrative salaries. And it’s for nothing in return. There’s no services rendered. There’s no product delivered.
Chelsea probably hasn’t lifted a finger at any of her jobs. That’s my take on it.
This is beyond disgusting. I will never use Expedia again, and will counsel my friends not to do so either.
I have worked with two GREAT men that were on a major board, they were brilliant, successful, entrepreneurs that had been in their fields 40 years and were tops and the best men I have ever known. I do not know Webbs daughter, but she is nothing like those men were.

It's a bet and an investment in what they hope will be a resurgence of the democrat party.
Chelsea is sort of the "Rosemary's Baby" of the democrat party - the spawn of their real King and Queen.
She belongs to the party as Rosemary's Baby belonged to all the worshippers of Satan.
She won't actually have to do anything more than carry the Clinton name into the next generation.

Chelsea Clinton has no work experience in this field or any other. Yet she can land a $250k/year job she isnt qualified for.
I’d just be happy to land a $50k/year job.

She has absolutely ZERO qualifications for being appointed to such a lofty position in a multi-billion dollar business enterprise. She knows much less about the commerce of travel and the operations of such a business than the average business traveler, MILLIONS of them. This is a total political payoff for the Clintonistas. Shameless.
You do not think that Chelsea Hubbell got her job through her skills and work history do you? It is the way that the Establishment supports the Democrat ruling class until they can be put in elected office and then rape the treasury and spread it around. As the majority of voters wanted their favorite muslim to do.
She is gifted in a very special way. the type of way where the R is silent
If a company wants to pour their money down a rat hole for political gain it is their business. Must be nice to have that kind of money to waste.
Gore got the same payoff from Apple.
Just set up a non-refundable vacation through them. I can regret but not rescind.
