You need a “The Clapper” setup for her lamp. LOL!
Not much can be done about the TV remote when they get to be that age. Even with huge buttons, they’re gonna hit the wrong ones. That’s one thing your mom and Aunt Clara have in common. They finally took the remote away from her at the nursing home.

No lightning to see with that little batch of rain and couple of storms earlier. The main event is closing in now. It calmed down a tad but is building up steam again.

Motel 6 Latvia. LOL! Good one.
I’ve compared this guy’s tail spots with other scaps and it looks like it’s Raimis. The female isn’t Black Lace though. I believe she’s the who ran Lace off.
I hope the eagle in the distance doesn’t decide to show up and start any fights. Probably staying put like the two are in that dense fog.

Hubby will attest to it being an explosive combination. LOL!

I’m outta here. A tornado warning just popped up and it’s aimed at us. Should be here in a few minutes. Be back shortly if able.

You are official now. Did they answer all your questions? Did it go smoothly?

I’ve put it off for several years, but the time is coming. Sometime this year...you’ve inspired me to go talk to them. LOL!

Woohoo, Ms Feather...*hugs*...hope that means spring is coming.

Hopefully the skinny robins have gone south for some food and will be back.

Is it warm enough for you to get outside and sit in the sun?

I heard the one in the background and I was hoping that the female was telling it to back off. LOL!

Some days are warm enough to sit for a little while, others just good for blowing the stink off. LOL

Wow! That was intense! I think I got some decent lightning shots out of the deal. LOL! The tornado died down just before it reached us but we still had a heck of a storm and I imagine we’ll have some mess to clean up. Still raining hard and windy but the worst is past us.

It went very smoothly. I was in and out in a half hour and all was done. The young man who took care of it all was very helpful.

It was a male in the distance and they probably WERE telling it to stay away. There’s been enough excitement at that nest the past few weeks. LOL

WOW! Glad it didn’t quite get there. Clean up from almost is so much better than a hit.

And you’re getting rain now.....that’s good.

We’re glad we dodged the bullet too! LOL! That was close and we reeeeeeeally didn’t need to get hit again. I’d say there’s some tree damage somewhere around the farm though.
The wind changed direction a few times so the rotation wasn’t gone completely. It just wasn’t compacted into a tornado when it got here.

Came inside and Hubby, who’d been awakened by the ruckus, asked where I’d been. I was at the back door watching once the rain hit.

Dang, Hubby just looked through the window and saw the big gas tank has been blown over. Fortunately there was little gas in it. We used to keep it full to use for the mowers and other things but gas got to the point of going crappy too quickly and we stopped. He’s out in the car driving around the farm a little now to see what else was messed up.

If you’re looking at the Dabasdati forum, use Google translate. That’s what I do. I just use the Looduskalendar forum since it’s in English.

Clean-up is going to be a booger, I’m afraid. We already know a 500 gallon gas tank was blown over. Fortunately little gas in it.
The wind was horrendous and straight line winds can do as much damage as a tornado. I’m just hoping we don’t have tin peeled off the roof. It’s raining too hard to go out with the flashlight to look.

But yep, we’re getting rain tonight. A lot of it. That’ll help the water table.
