Dear GOP Congress: Do NOT betray us! Repeal ObamaCare NOW!!

Posted on 03/07/2017 4:29:59 PM PST by Jim Robinson

We voted you in, gave you the majority in the House, the majority in Senate, delivered the presidency and soon the judiciary. You have been given a mandate to repeal ObamaCare in every election cycle since 2010. Do your job! Do not betray us!

No more excuses!

Screw the democrats and their unconstitutional socialist entitlement schemes! We did not vote you in to deliver ObamaCare-lite! Repeal every word of this unconstitutional boondoggle!! No more government entitlements!!

The constitution clearly reserves health care to the states and the people. Feds stay OUT!!

Do the job you were elected to do! Repeal ObamaCare NOW or get the hell OUT!!

You’re right, it’s the framework they want to protect.
Federal control.

Price says, we keep what helps patients and get rid of what doesn’t. Sounds nice, but this is the why dependents stay on their parents policy until age 26 in Ryancare.

The senate has 52 gop seats. The only reason that isn’t sufficient is because they won’t get rid of the disingenuous and duplicitous filibuster.

But that’s really academic. There is no number of senate seats that will suffice for these bums to do what they were elected to do. They could have 99 seats in the senate, the entire house, 49 legislatures, all the governorships, the Presidency, all seats on the supreme court....and still, the gop would be positing reasons why they just can’t get it done.

The simpler and more honest reason is the gop never had any intention whatsoever of doing what it was elected to do. They were as surprised as hitlery on November 8th; they expected to go back to their long term role as the “loyal opposition:”, with their snouts firmly wedged in the public trough. They were surprised, nay horrified to find that they had won. And here we see the result.

Paul Ryan and the Deep State Republicans. Cowering before their Democrat overlords.

Once again, doing all in their power to fumble, throw an interception, drop the pass, take a sack, run the wrong route. Doing ANYTHING to avoid winning.

They are certainly at the helm of this shipwrecked piece of legislation, Trump notwithstanding. So, what I get from this bill is a big FU America, we’ll take Obamacare and put it in a new wardrobe and give it a patriotic name or some such BS.

The “replace” I would like to see is a return to the free market, where insurance companies would compete for our business based on what they offer and what it will cost us, and we could buy from any insurance company located anywhere in the country. Sure works for auto insurance, life insurance and millions of other products - all with our Gubmint interference.

And told him to get RYan away from the cameras. That his ego was misdirecting the people and congress He and his smirky smile is going to cause even more to turn against the proposal

And that Prices explanation would clear things up but only a few heard it

That's what I just tweeted to the president in response to this latest tweet: Donald J. Trump‏Verified account @realDonaldTrump 1h1 hour ago -- I feel sure that my friend @RandPaul will come along with the new and great health care program because he knows Obamacare is a disaster!

They can’t repeal Obamacare, not without insuring huge Democratic majorities in the House and Senate in 2018.

Members of Congress may not know much, but they can count votes like a pimp can count money.

There are two things the voters don’t like about Obamacare - the name, and paying for it. The rest of it, they will never give up.

fed govt has zero authority (and zero competence) to try to run everyone’s health care

it is absurd....and disgusting that they’re still trying to do it

REPEAL! (I believe all 57 states run emergency medical care programs for those genuinely in need, but its a state or local question NOT a federal one!)

I agree.

Let the companies design a basic policy without all of the guvment mandated stuff.

Just out of curiosity, if this passes and President Trump signs it, how will that hypothetically effect FR’s official position (if there is on) on President Trump?
