CottonBall what in this bill would make the costs of average citizens go down??? There is NO high risk pool for preexisting conditions, thus why would insurance companies agree to cover preexsisting conditions unless regular consumers would be paying higher premiums and deductibles!!! So they have cut out the mandates for employers and people, so people can go back to working a 40 hour work week and employers are NOT required to carry health care!! However I do NOT see one thing where this is going to help everyday people get LOWER premiums or deductibles!! I see this bill as helping the Chamber of Comerce, and insurance companies in tax cuts but nothing to help OUR COSTS!!!

What I am wondering is IF we can buy insurance across state lines is every insurance company going to have to police every applicant to find out if they have been insured or not insured?

yes, sometimes he thinks he’s a lap dog. When my sister and I or I’m on the sofa watching TV, sometimes he thinks he needs to lay across us or next to us - can get very cozy :-) I love him so much - a really great dog - I don’t mind at all. BTW - I like a lot of ice cubes in my beverages - every time I walk in the kitchen, he stands in front of the ice dispenser - he LOVES ice cubes.

I’d rephrase the question as “What brings costs down for the middle class?”
That is the case that has to be made. Analyses that I’ve seen of the bill don’t. And this bill needs analysis, it’s nearly impossible to understand- for a person with typical knowledge.

My guess is it would work the same way auto insurance works. You'd have to submit the info to the out of state insurance.

No wait, the insurance companies would just make one phone call to IRS.
