I've had another thought about this. I'd wager (and I'm not usually a bettor) that the WH is wiretapped. It just makes sense that if they spied on President Trump's residence before the election, they'd spy on it while he's in office.

I would not be unhappy if Trump used this as a reason to get out of the WH and have it restored as a museum. Why not move operations to Camp David?
