I recall a few months ago there was discussion regarding if Sessions might investigate Hilary, or the Clinton Foundation. If Hilary's server was investigated there is no doubt that Obama would be implicated. And who knows what else might come up.
Seems that the establishment has decided that the best defense is a good offense. It looks like typical politics on the surface, but the intensity suggests that there might be more at stake.
As I learned serving as Governor when my nominated AG was defeated during confirmation for no valid reason – my fellow Republicans having caved under leftist pressure, refusing to defend my AG – it’s all downhill from here unless the Trump Administration refuses to capitulate. With the ouster of Gen. Flynn, the crocs smelled blood in the water. Precedence was set. Now more than ever the Trump Movement must pressure the Administration to steel its spine. Or it’s all downhill from here. Trust me, on a smaller scale I’ve been there.
