“This is a declaration of war, a war on the environment,” John O’Grady, an EPA union leader and agency employee, told E&E news. “It’s a declaration of war against children with asthma, against women of child-bearing age, against the elderly.”
Trump is expected to ask Congress to cut EPA’s budget 24 percent and reduce the agency’s staff by 3,000 employees.
O’Grady works out of EPA’s Chicago office where about 30 agency employees took to the streets to protest the nomination of Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt to head the agency. The Senate confirmed Pruitt in February.

There was a time for them, but clearly that time is long gone now.
Never saw signs like that at Tea Party rallies. Or rioting/vandalism...
Sure hope he follows through. Turn enforcement over to the states and just have minimal oversight/audit/watch dog (and that’s just to keep the true believers in check).
The EPA had been at war with the people of the United States since 1993, so any whining about an act of war by this idiot is meaningless.

What’s he going to do when Trump eliminates the EPA and recreates another one different from what it is now?
President Trump should move the EPA headquarters to Fargo, ND and see how many bureaucrats will relocate.

The EPA turned the Animas River into a super fund site through their arrogance and stupidity. Worse yet, no one was found accountable.
