When Noah Wall was born, the doctors said he probably wouldnt survive and if he did, he would be severely physically and developmentally disabled. Born with only 2 percent of his brain to a family in Cumbria, England, Noah had no hope at least according to the doctors.
In utero, Noah had developed a rare complication of spina bifida where his skull filled with fluid, crushing his brain down into a “thin sliver of tissue,” according to the UK’s Mirror. His parents Shelly and Rob were advised to abort him on five occasions. They refused. After Noah’s birth, an open wound in his back was closed and a shunt was installed to drain the fluid from his brain.
Shelly and Rob picked out a baby coffin for Noah, but they also never stopped believing he was anything less than a great gift. They took him home and the entire family surrounded him constantly with love, affection, and 24-7 care. Noahs brain began to grow. And grow. And grow some more.
When he was 3, a brain scan showed that his brain had expanded to 80% of a normal brain. Now a movie on Britains Channel 5 called The Boy Who Grew A Brain documents just how far Noah has come.
The family continues to keep Noahs brain stimulated to aid his neurological growth. Dr. Claire Nicholson of Newcastles Great North Childrens Hospital in England — Noah’s neurosurgeon — calls him a remarkable child with two remarkable parents.
Noah, whos always smiling and shows empathy and love in his words and deeds, is learning to read and write, can count, and attends school. His brain continues to develop beyond anyones wildest dreams and after some surgeries on his hips, Noahs family believes he may actually walk one day. Given how this story has unfolded so far, you should probably bet on it.
Praise God.
Lying headling. 2% is not “without a brain.”
This is testimony to the extraordinary power of the human brain.
Thank God Shelly and Rob ignored the drs and protected him. God bless Noah and his parents. It is truly a miraculous story.
I don't put much faith in folks such as you who choose to site verses written by men..........I'm surprised you didn't quote Corinthians which happened to be the topic for three years at the last church I attended till the "pastor" was kicked out for certain, undisclosed indiscretions...........LOL!
Hawking is a genius and a creation of God even tho he is an admitted atheist. At least he's not a hypocrite.........
You got that? Must be tough getting a date :)
At least you have the courage to day it now.
But a life without sex..I feel so bad for you!!
A pointless pathos can happen from too much...you know..plus you can go blind. :)
Who’s a grouchy man at night. Who’s a grumpy man :)
Sip warm milk.
Thanks.
But you think that was a tough thing to get over, Anton has a pointless pathos!! He said so in post 21. :)
He told me so and it was brave of him.
They have medicine for men now to help a pointless pathos.
Anton, I’ll send you the name of a good men’s doctor :)
What a “good news” story. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for this healing.
I am not sure I understand your response. It seems to be more than just your lack of skill with the English language. More like a cognitive disturbance.
But, if I can guess what you are getting at, let me say that people who oh and ah over every pathetic medicial failure or success just need to get a life. If it isn’t your kid, or you aren’t the doctor, it is none of your business. And, it certainly isn’t any of mine.
My faith does not require medical miracles to prove or sustain it. If the kid had died it would have been God’s will.
God is GREAT all the time!!!!
Wow! You sound like a miracle also. God bless you for your progress and I’ll ask Him to do something about the pain.
Our granddaughter’s first child was born with very little brain and his prognosis sounded like this little boy. His doctors said he couldn’t live. He did. They said he would be blind and deaf. He isn’t. His mother has been a warrior for him, but he is still extremely affected. He is wheelchair confined and has not learned to speak. He communicates his emotions with hand gestures and grunts. Very sad, but his Mom still believes in miracles. So do we.
Oh man you are too funny tonight. Tee hee!!
Never underestimate the POWER of GOD!
Look at him- a bright little boy.
I have friends who doctors told to abort their baby girl and she had no brain.
she grew up to graduate Summa Cum Laude from college-
Indeed, we all shall see...
I suppose more folks than just Hawking etc, genius or not, fit the bill.
Me, I am simply suggesting that the sci-fi theoretical physics dreamed up in an imagination pre-set to avoid the reality of a first cause to deny the same.
I like it when Hawking etc al declared the universe “needed” to come into existence”, simply saying so demands a personality, as “it” is a personal pro-noun. They devise all sorts of explanations of the physics while strenuously avoiding the obvious- all actions must have an actor- they violate the basic tenants of the body of knowledge (science) they claim to be expert at.
This little boy is a case in point. He is a creation of the Almighty- and with Him, all things are possible.
