U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the Savannah Port of Entry inspected a container of manifested firearm magazines and discovered 591 cartons of pistol magazines bearing the Glock trademark.
The importation of the magazines with the Glock trademark on the packaging was found to be unauthorized and in violation of the registered trademark, said Mark Varga, CBP spokesman.

Supposedly, you’ve seen “the list”. Tell me where it is if it isn’t on gun-talk blog from somebody..
There probably is a list out there but it is more likely you learn by just using and knowing about guns.
I did do one search and the first line that came up on Mec-Gar’s site says that if you own more than one gun you more than likely already use Mec-Gar magazines.
It is common knowledge among gun users that Mec-Gar makes nearly all original equipment mags.
Some importer has lost their ass on this deal.
Ha! I especially like their AK-46s and AR-13s.
I've done plenty of that and I have bought and used plenty of magazines for all types (and I've bought and used actual Mec-Gar magazines). Don't be so condescending. I probably have more than you.
Common knowledge is nothing more than 'lore' IMO. You positively asserted that they do make magazines for most of the manufacturers, so show me or tell me where I can find the "list."
The list is all Mec-Gar fits for different pistols. Where do they say OEM factory?
I am not trying to be condescending and apologize if you get that impression.
I am simply trying to get the facts out there and you are simply in error about this.
Actually it was your condescending attitude about us less knowledgeable guys using Mec-Gar while you “oh all knowing wise one”, will use the original manufacturer’s mags and not realizing that Mec-Gar probably made the ones you use.

“To date, we have engineered and tooled over 250 different models and has supplied over 100 million OEM magazines to customers worldwide!”

Here is my post you first chimed in about.
“Personally, on magazines like those in a Glock, the manufacturer original is best in many cases. I shy away from replacements like Mec-Gar and such. They may operate just as well but I dont have to take that chance.”
Exactly how was that condescending to you? You think I’m using Glock stamped Mec-Gars in my Glocks? Definitively show me where somebody with some actual data or citation shows that? No, you were the condescending one talking about “if you use or are around guns, etc.....”
Tell me where I can see somebody with some manufacturer saying they use Mec-Gars as their OEMs and I’ll shut up.
Yes, I’ve seen that exact same page. Where on that page mentions an actual manufacturer by name?
The Sig TACOPS 226 came factory w/4 extended “Sig” mags. The early runs of these were dreadful. Returns and replacements from the factory, same deal. Finally switched to Mec-Gars, for 9mm and .357Sig/.40S&W (they’re interchangeable) not a hiccup since.
I can’t speak highly enough about MecGar mags for the 226!
Astra
Beretta
Bernadelli
FN Browning
BUL
Charles Daly Colt
CZ
IMI
Kel-Tec
Kimber
Llama
North American Arms
Remington
Sigarms
Smith & Wesson
Springfield Armory
STI
Standard Arms
Star
Steyr
Tanfoglio
Taurus
Walther
That is a partial list.
It says they are OEM for all the listed brands.
Are you just having a bad day?
Failure to feed, here we come...
The page shows brands they make magazines for. There are other after-market manufacturers for those same brands. It DOES say they are OEM that I can see on the page except for this one statement.
“We craft magazines for many of the world’s classic pistols - Browning Hi-Power, Luger P-08, and Walther PPK to name a few.”
That doesn’t say “for all the list above” that I can see.
Are you having a bad day?
Mec-Gar in particular often IS the manufacturer original - many firearm makers contract magazine manufacture out to them.
If you have a post-war Sig made up until the last couple years, you have Mec-Gar magazines. Sig changed the supplier of their mags for their US made pistols (1911 and a couple others) to Checkmate.
