Exactly! Maybe the farmers in CA can use this scenario (cutting away bird/woodland animal sanctuaries/habitats) in solving their water issue case.

Clif High tweeted web bot immediacy data indicating damaging floods for CA, OR, WA with hurricane level evacuations required. Likely in the next week.

It would be a good year to backfill the Salton sea if anyone had the foresight to make those provisions.

Some say the spillway was sabotaged. Spillway was designed for 200,000 cfs and it failed at 25,000cfs. If true that is interesting.

Wow.
That is a tremendous amount of debris.
Imagine the force being exerted on that boom.
Can’t tell from the picture how the sections are constructed or linked together but it’s going to have to be really strong to stand up to that level of pressure.

“”state legislature demands conversion to 3 ounce flush commodes; umbrella tax proposed; windshield wiper rain-catch system required on all 2018 vehicles sold in California.””

Are you joking? I understand the commode (low flush has been around a long time) but the others? Umbrella - are you speaking of an umbrella to keep rain off your head? Windshield wiper rain-catch system - to do what??? Apparently to catch rain water and then what? Save up enough to drown all the legislators?

We left CA 11 years ago but before that I remember there was talk about a law requiring all washing machines sold after a certain date had to be front loading. Did that ever take place?

What fools we put up with!!!!

When reality is in conflict with the Democrat political agenda, then they just ignore reality.....for as long as they can.

I think it’s wire rope, like cable. The booms are really long so the force is fairly diffused as the current spreads out. Must be a lot of work to remove everything though.

Not just Oroville, but Marysville, Gridley, Live Oak, Yuba City and all those other towns downstream. One of which I'm in.

The glory hole in Berryessa (Fairfield/Vacaville) is about to overflow, if it hasn't already done so. That one hasn't overflowed in years.

Yes, Why are we not building more water storage, the flood is a current issue but we are also going to let the water go to the sea.
