The Trump administration is considering a plan to weed out would-be immigrants who are likely to require public assistance, as well as to deport when possible immigrants already living in the United States who depend on taxpayer help, according to a draft executive order obtained by The Washington Post. The White House would not confirm or deny the authenticity of the orders, and White House officials did not respond to requests for comment about the drafts on Monday and Tuesday.

I don’t put much stock in “leaked” stuff like this. I’ll just wait and see if it’s true or not, and we won’t know until he actually signs an EO.
It would be great if he actually did this. Most of these so-called “refugees” are illiterate in their own language, and are bound to require years of “public assistance” and lots of taxpayer funded educational and medical assistance, maybe for decades to come.
Hahahahahahahahaha, De Blasio’s going to have to start charging $20 for small sodas to keep funding the foreign enemies he’s importing to support and vote Democrat.
Bruce,
I was taking a drink of Mountain Dew while reading your post. I nearly nose-puked laughing. Ha! Ha! Ha! :-)
Get Sessions sworn in as AG first, then sign this E.O. and let Sessions roll it out, preferably starting in Mexifornia.
I love it.
Leftists don't dig into their own pockets. They vote to allow their government to dig into everyone else's.
Let’s start calling a spade a spade; all Dems are MARXIST; Thomas Jefferson was a Lib, Dems are RED not BLUE.
Well, I would guess that it would be to focus and try to knock out what they consider to be the "worst" of what President Trump is throwing at them, taking the loss on the remaining items.
There are certifications in any green card application where potential immigrants have to swear they are not on nor will they accept means tested public benefits. Further more there is an affidavit of support that the sponsor must sign and notarize guaranteeing the prospective immigrant will not be able live without government assistance.
As much as I like the idea of enforcing the law I have one major concern that I keep seeing on many of the Lame Media outlets and that is “leaked draft copies of executive orders” or “copies of draft papers”. Every time I read that the NY Compost or NY Slimes has obtained any draft or copy of anything I immediately read as Fake News. I am just having a hard time believing that they have those kind of sources in the Trump admin.
But back to the topic of the post, I do support passionately that immigrants must not receive any government assistance.
Another squirrel let loose for Liberals to chase.
Trump is living rent free inside their OODA loop. This a real lesson in disrupting the opposition.
I had to do the same and have been wondering how our current immigrants get around that. Perhaps that requirement has simply been ignored as of late.
Years ago, a classmate of mine (she was married to an English muslim and helped him become a citizen) told me of how her husband’s family had all immigrated to the US. If I remember correctly, they had to sign something stating they could support themselves or wouldn’t take welfare - not sure but they agreed they didn’t need any assistance. First thing they did when they got here was to go on welfare and all got braces.
We also need to go back to having financial sponsors. Someone who will guarantee an immigrant, who will provide for them if they are out of work, who will pay their healthcare etc. then let’s see how many of those lies step forward
Like the little snowflakes who want sanctuary campuses. Great, each of you pony up $20.00 a week for their tuition
That is exactly what BO’s admin did. He flooded the market with so many scandals and crap that no one could focus on one. Also, it wore everyone down so that we were eventually numb to the evil.
Awesome. Up the Irons..? Bruce Dickinson?
Ditto.... 2007
I love any move which reduces the incentive to come here illegally. Might make me proud to pay taxes again.
