For at least the time it took for Ted to latch on to Trumps actions.
Get over it. Cruz has shown himself more than willing to support Trump on key issues. Save your grudge for someone who actually deserves it.

I was a Ted Cruz supporter during his Senate run, and voted for him in the Presidential Primary last year. After his stunt at the RNC, Cruz was dead to me, and I doubted I could ever vote for him again. However, he came round and his late support of Trump was probably helpful. Since Trump has come into office, Cruz seems like he's on the same team, so all is forgiven on my end. Cruz' statement on the firing of the acting AG is perfect.

Oh, Ted definitely deserves it - he worked long and hard during the primaries and revealed to us all that he was willing to lie and deceive to achieve his goals. Then his refusal to endorse Trump at the Convention showed him to be a petulant loser that couldn't put the fate of our nation ahead of his hurt feelings.
Yes, he is saying the right things and supporting President Trump right now but that can change at any moment when Ted decides his better interests lie elsewhere. He is not worthy of our votes, our respect or our trust. And he is certainly not worthy of a seat on the Supreme Court. We don't need another John Roberts up there. All the man is doing now is trying to rehabilitate his image so he can run for President again in 2020 or 2024.
