Liberals vs liberals vs liberals. No matter how it goes down, some liberal group will end up being the bad guy.
“When the assembly is convened on public property, individuals are prohibited from possessing firearms while demonstrating or picketing without advanced permission.”
So if they ask permission (not unreasonable for an otherwise practically disruptive event, philosophy & caliber aside) they can demonstrate while armed? A little paperwork & processing fees for assembly, and NBPP is good to go.

We understand you are going to holding an Armed Protest, in preperation I have Ordered the National Guard to be on Alert, there will be 2 F-18’s overhead at all times loaded with Napalm, the first act of Violence and we are going to Fry your Asses.
Unfortunately there are those who won’t have enough self control to simply ignore them. If ignored, problem solved.
And, if ignored, open carry is Trumpeted (pun intended).
Black Leftist Mobs (BLM) don’t matter.
They’re going to try to tie it into 1898. Wilmington has a history, the left loves to rub their noses in it. Was pretty ugly, termed a coup d’état. A lot of people died.
It is being held at Creekwood a place know for trouble.

I remember Greensboro 1979.....it really served to calm the stupidity down for a long while.
The whole thing was weird, as if it was all staged. I think both sides had agitators and that led to it. The demonstrators misled police as to where they were going to hold their protest, then very vocally blamed police for not being there at their Death To The Klan protest, even before the shooting began. They’d dared the Klan to show up, and they did. Oddly, they knew where to go. Police didn’t.
