Drew Carey's 11-year-old son may be in big trouble.
Connor Carey is reportedly the young protester in a Fox News video of an inauguration rally where protesters were seen burning signs.
The 11-year-old, who identifies himself as Connor, told Fox News' Griff Jenkins he "kind of started this fire" because "I felt like it and because I'm just saying 'screw our president.'"
TMZ reported the child in the video is Drew Carey's son. A rep for the TV star could not immediately verify Carey's son is the child in the video, but a picture of the comedian with his son on Carey's Instagram account appears to show the same child in the video.
Drew Carey participated in the inauguration in a very different way from his son. The 58-year-old emceed the Veterans Inaugural Ball: Salute to Heroes hosted by The American Legion on Jan. 20.
The "Price is Right" host did not seem to be aware of his son's participation in the protest that night. TMZ caught up with him and he told the gossip site he was "just having dinner with my kid down the street" and wanted to see the protest.
A source told TMZ that Connor Carey "regretted his words" after speaking with his parents, who were upset with their son's actions.

When I was 11 in a971, as kids we did not care nor did we even know anything about politics or politicians and the issues they were for or against.

The boy is not Drew’s biological son, and he isn’t married to the mother. He does seem to take an active role in being a good Dad to the boy, which clearly he needs.
I’m guessing there is more maternal influence in this - maybe why Drew never sealed the deal with her.
Drew is. That doesn’t necessarily mean his son is. Try to remember all of the liberal indoctrination a kid goes through these days.

The gist I get from the story is Carey did not encourage this.

Fox should be ashamed to print such a blatantly false headline, but since they’ve seemed determined to join to Liberal Media Club the past few years, I’m not surprised.
Only saw a few seconds of Griff's (Surfer Boy to all the Tony Snow fans)interview with the kid. Did they really show the mom giving him a lighter???
