TRUMP'S REVOLUTIONARY INAUGURAL SPEECH
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | 1-22-17 | Joseph Farah

In 1961, when John F. Kennedy gave his famous inaugural speech, it wasn’t controversial. It wasn’t considered radical. There were no protesters there to suggest he was being un-American, a man of privilege and wealth, protecting his own self-interest and the status quo.

“Ask not what your country can do for you,” he said. “Ask what you can do for your country.”

It was common sense back then. But Kennedy, who would sign into law what was the biggest tax cut in the country’s history at that point, understood what was needed to bring greater prosperity and jobs to a stagnant economy – and it wasn’t people looking to government to redistribute wealth in the form of handouts.

I’ve always believed that the country and the government are two different things. Church groups ministering to their communities are doing something for their country (on a local level), not for their government. A businessman creating jobs is helping his country, and except for generating tax revenues, is not doing it for the government.

They came down twice. The second time was with umbrellas and panchos. The first time, about 6 minutes in, was very odd.

Read that it had started to rain and the military men came down to hand out ponchos.

The first man came down and handed out ponchos. He went back up the stairs and out. Then a bunch of them came down, and they didn’t seem to have anything in their hands.

So it didn’t look like that was the reason, and they didn’t hand any out, but it is possible.

“They were coming down fairly quickly. No idea what it was about. Hope there was no threat, but I admit the thought did cross my mind at the time.”

It looked like the rain was picking up. I thought they were some sort of umbrella detail. My first thought was one of concern though.

That was a different Democratic Party in many ways.

Probably, most of us old Deplorables had good friends we grew up with, went to college with, served in the military with and socialized with until Ronald Reagan became president.

Reagan scared the crap out of the new rats, as their goal became to minimize America and us for their benefit.

The mediots and DC rat attacks on Reagan filtered down to our former democrat friends. During Reagan's second term, we started removing those rats from our social lists.

During the Clinton era, my wife and I removed any remaining democrats from any contact with us. That action has been replicated by our adult children, nieces and nephews. Our grandchildren and great nieces/nephews have been early adopters of this no democrats in our private/social life.

About those people protesting this inauguration -- we all should want to know what exactly they disagree with, regarding this 16-minute statement delivered by the incoming President.

I’m pretty sure it had something to do with the rain, not with a threat.

Well, maybe a threat to his hairdo. ;-)
