A growing group of Democratic lawmakers will boycott President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration Friday as a protest of Trump’s worldview and his criticism of civil rights icon John Lewis, congressman of Georgia
There are now more than 40 House Democrats — 42, at last count — who have declared that they will not attend the inauguration on Capitol Hill this week. The number rose sharply after Trump tweeted Saturday that Lewis is “all talk, talk, talk” and should “finally focus on the burning and crime infested inner-cities.”
Lewis, who sees Trump’s Nov. 8 win as illegitimate because of Russia’s alleged interference in the election, is best known for leading civil rights protests in the 1960s, including the 1965 march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Ala., in which state troopers brutally attacked the crowd. Lewis will not attend the inauguration, he told NBC News in an interview for Sunday’s “Meet the Press.”
Here’s a list of other lawmakers who will not attend, starting alphabetically with Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.), whose spokesman confirmed her decision in an email.

The demodummie freeloaders have been missing since the day they got elected, missing Trumps inauguration shouldn’t mean a hill of beans. As it’s been stated, “Who’s going to miss them?” Even if they DID show up, all it would mean is they wanted to get the face in the news. Missing the event shows their solidarity with the rest of the whiners.

The Trump administration and the fifty states need to purge and cleanse their voter rolls of all types of illegal voters. The motor/vehicla registration gig has got to go!!! All voters, on election days must show valid proof of citizenship and a valid Government issured photo ID, in order to be allowed to vote. Do that....and many states will turn red overnight!!! The Democrats have been winning for the last fifty years on illegally cast votes.
Item....DJT & company....gdt into the inner cities and clean up the mess that the Democrat Party, The Congressional Black Caucus, and the NAACP have brought about in African-American communities. Black leaders like John Lewis and company led by Obama, have kept Black Americans on their “Economic Slave Plantation” far too long with false promises, no action, just so that the Democrat Party can keep their votes!!! Mr. Trump, words are OK, but...it is, real, meaningful, positive, pro-active, concrete action that is required...like....TODAY!!!

They could care less about African-Americans..or, any Americans as a matter of fact!!! Obama ans his “Black” cohorts have failed all Black Americans. Trump will make that fact clearly evident in his first 100 days as POTUS!!! Ignore any Democrat....they are self-inflicting their own downfall as a major political party. Example: Al Sharpton brought 25,000 people to rally last Saturday....Oops, real number of folks, that showed up was 500-1000 people...just like a Hillary Clinton POTUS rally. LMAO!!!! Sharpton & Lewis have had their fifteen minutes of fame, long ago.....today, not so much!!! Forget them all, their time has long sinc past them by!!!
The Democrat strategy is now crystal clear — foment as much racial fear, resentment and hatred as possible. By using the worthless “civil rights” bell cow and conspicuous stooge, John Lewis in an attempt to de-legitimize Donald Trump’s presidency, they’re desperately hoping to keep struggling blacks on the Democrat plantation.
Democrats generally, and black Democrats specifically are responsible for herding poor blacks into inner-city ghettos for the sole purpose of creating government dependency. In doing so, they’ve cultivated a monolithic black Democrat voting block, which they’ve abused since the 1960’s to maintain power and control.
Their greatest fear, which is now obvious, is that President Trump will make good on his promise to eradicate inner-city crime, create jobs, improve education, stop the wholesale slaughter and restore dignity, quality of life, independence and hope to black families that existed prior to LBJ’s culturally destructive “Great Society” welfare laws of 1964.
They and their lackeys in the FakeStream media know that if their monolithic black voting block is dismantled (for all the right reasons) and dignity and prosperity is restored to all black communities, and blacks are finally freed from this politically motivated oppression -— the Democrats and their party will never win another election.
Only forty? Come on Democrats snhow the world what you’re made of and ALL of you stay away. My fondest wish That would end their party by June.
And the response should be: As far as the White House is concerned, these 40 Congresscritters DO NOT EXIST. They are not invited to the White House, the White House does not take their calls, nor do any cabinet Secretaries or Federal Agencies.

I looked up Lewis on Wikipedia yesterday, to see what else he has done in his life, other than march in Selma.
The answer is - not much. He’s constantly getting awards for simply being John Lewis; but, even by the low standards of a career politician, he hasn’t done much. He just sits in his very safe seat, votes ultra liberal, and collects awards.
Ah, fewer felons there. Not bad.
They’ll be back in their home districts stealing things there.
In that case, fill those seats with Mortimer Snerd dummies with name tags of the missing elected official.

Maybe this is counter to most here but I am glad. The fewer dims the better. I think if I had been a pub senator or rep in 2008 and 2012 I would have skipped the inaugurals and probably all the SOTUs. Apart from good manners, maybe, there was no value in listening to 0 bloviate. Good manners was tossed out by the dims ages ago anyway.

OTOH, it could be, “The MORE Dems the better”. I know they’ll stink up the place, but the more Dems there are, the less likely internal terrorists will accomplish something nefarious at the ceremony. I just want them there to run interference. After that, they can go away and ESAD.
