Is the partythe Republican party, that isover? That's what Joe Scarborough is predicting. On today's Morning Joe, Scarborough surmised that "Donald Trump, by the end, will blow apart the Republican party" and that people are "going to look at George W. Bush as the last Republican president."
Scarborough depicted Trump as "in a sense, the first independent president." Joe also suggested that Bernie Sanders might have the same party-demolishing impact on the Democrats.

Joe has a point.
Sometimes things need “blowing apart.”
End of the GOP—W the last Republican president?
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Probably true.
The Republican Party DESERVES to die.
A new Trump Populist party will take its place.
Pubbies will seal their fate by trying to sabotage Trump.
Ok, where’s the down side?
He’ll make VOTING Republican Cool because he will change the ugly face and static action of the Republicans.
If the Republican Party dies, it will have been by it’s OWN hand, not by Trump’s. The establishment of the Republican Party has ignored its base for too long, and sided with Democrats on issues that we abhor. They created the mess that allowed Trump to be victorious over all the party politicians against whom he ran.
I bet what they are more worried about is that Trump will be a success and will remake the Republican party more in his image. Make America Great Again, and PC BS, and fix things. Bye, bye, sell out RINOs.
“Ok, wheres the down side?”
As long as Trump’s policies are geared towards removing government from our lives I don’t care what he is.
Oh, Slow Joe pontificated on the downside, along with Billy the Kid Kristol, all morning long. He said his poll ratings were going to go down if he kept blowing up Washington. (As if the poll ratings are accurate.)
At certain times in history parties are born, die, and they reorganize and realign
Dems should know. Obama screwed them but good.
I think what he blows up is the Republican coalition and that may not be a bad thing. During these four years I can see Trump going into inner city churches to speak and talk about the changes he’s trying to implement such as school vouchers, incenting business to invest in inner cities and bringing jobs back to America. Behind him will be people like Jim Brown as his imprimatur.
heh heh heh.....

Ditto. Any Republican Party that wouldn’t vote to keep the likes of Eric Holder out of power does not deserve to live.
Perhaps it is time to look at the dead witnesses
and secretaries, like Scarborough’s.
Like Reagan before him, Trump is a nationalist interloper in the GOP globalist Free Traitor establishment. Tuns out Reagan was an anomaly. Will Trump just be a speed bump an the way to 3rd world status? I do not think the GOPe (and the USA) will get a third chance.
I agree with Joe.
Just like the American hating socialists and communists have taken over the democrat party, us right wingers, through Donald Trump are taking over the Republican party. -Tom
I hope so. I've had enough of the same ineffectual, wimpy,
liberal behavior of the so called "conservative" Republican Party.
It's time we had a party that has no fear of standing up for America
and isn't there to just a collect a paycheck and sell out it supporters.
The old globalist neo-con, liberal republicans will find their new safe-room in the democrat party.
After all - the RINOs are the ones who led the way for the Never-Trump movement.
They have more in common with democrats than with constitutionalists, conservatives and others who are fed up with Big Government and government agencies regulating every detail of our lives right down to dictating the light bulbs and toilet bowls we can use.
