Obama and Hillary Clinton did a rather poor job of examining the ramifications before interfering in Putin’s back yard, when they aided, encouraged, and supported an anti-Russian revolution in Ukraine*, and interfering in Russia’s elections (as if ours aren’t corrupt too). *Ukrainians have good reason to want to be free of Russian political domination; but by overpromising support and “misunderestimating” Putin, Hillary/Obama set up Ukraine for an ugly civil war, horrible death and destruction, and territorial dismemberment, then fecklessly abandoned the situation with Ukraine much the worse off. Putin has also thwarted their attempt to put Syria in the Islamist camp.

That means one who is naturally an American because they couldn’t be anything else, born here of citizen parents.
Everyone in DC wanted that changed without the hassle of amending the Constitution.
The Senate passed a resolution declaring McCain a natural born citizen because he had TWO citizen parents, even though he was born in Panama.
Then Obama runs and wins based on just being born here, even though he told us on his website he was born a British subject.
So the standard went from born here of citizen parents to just TWO citizen parents to just being born here in one election cycle without amending the Constitution.
According to this standard the recently deceased King of Thailand was eligible, he was born in Cambridge MA, as well as every anchor baby with no loyalty to the USA.
This was done intentionally because Rubio (no citizen parents), Cruz (foreign birth, one citizen parent), Jindal (no citizen parents), George P Bush (one citizen parent) and Haley (no citizen parents) were all ineligible and the future of the GOP.

I pray up to six times per day. Morning, each meal, afternoon, and bedtime. I find time to clean and cook. I am retired so that helps. I read somewhere that Pope Benedict prayed six hours per day. So I counted it up and figured one hour for Mass, one hour for the entire Rosary, half an hour for Divine Mercy Chaplet and one hour if you add up all the Liturgy of Hours. Maybe half hour for lectio divina. So still 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I meditate on that occasionally.
I’ll forward your concern to the English Dept. at Michigan, but it’s likely that all of my Irish professors have retired. You could consider yourself fortunate that I did not spell “defense” with a “c.” So you have that going for you.

The CIA director is appointed by the president. Trump has nominated Mike Pompeo as CIA director to replace Brennan.
