Some areas of Washington DC have been experiencing severe extended electrical brownouts day and night since November 9, 2016.

The cause seems to be thousands of document shredders in government offices running nonstop and overloading the electric power grid.

A smart and enterprising operative would go through countless office buildings in Washington and remove the power cords of every shredder they see. Unplug them first, then cut the cord at the base of the shredder so that it can’t easily be rewired. At least not quickly.
