The outgoing CIA director admonished the president-elect for talking and tweeting without fully understanding Russias threat to national security
I think he has to be mindful that he does not have a full appreciation and understanding of what the implications are of going down that road.
Brennan also said he took great umbrage at Trumps suggestion that agencies biased against him were behaving as if the US were Nazi Germany.

I don’t know. Why the heck would you want to be Irish?
Has the CIA gotten ANYTHING right since at least the first Iraq War?
Brennan also said he took great umbrage at Trumps suggestion that agencies biased against him were behaving as if the US were Nazi Germany.
Of course he takes umbrage. He was going for a Stalinist Russia vibe, not Nazi Germany.
Because you did, maybe?
Yes, you’re right! I guess we have too many “Intelligence leaders!” Just saw an article pushing Fiorina or Townsend.
Brennan, Ah BOOT Yah!
Trump’s allusion to Nazi Germany vis-a-vis the CIA wasn’t gratuitous. Trump is just letting Brennan know that he is well-aware of the intelligence community’s (well-documented) collusion with Nazi’s during the last years of WWII and after, for the purpose of using their knowledge about the USSR.
If the intelligence community keeps up this anti-Trump shtick, Trump could very well air more unsavory information about them, about which he knows plenty.
Trump correctly laughed at Brennen’s statement that Trump didn’t understand the risks Russia involved, when he responded “It couldn’t be worse than Syria (no red line), Russia taking Crimea and threatening Ukraine, and increasing its nukes” (or words to that affect - I’m paraphrasing what I remember).
Oh My...did PE Trump get right over the target on this one!!!
Old man Brennan got a little up tight...I can’t imagine why unless it is the truth!!!
Ugh! That would be a huge mistake.
DNI, not CIA director.
A new CIA Director will be announced once Brennan has resigned.
mentioning Mattis makes me "establishment," andGood stuff.
having professors from Ireland makes me "want to be Irish."
Yep.
Thanks for the link, Texas Fossil. Interesting reading, and a great deal of it.
For the record, I think we have had our backs against the wall for a long time. At least since Obama was first elected.
A smart and enterprising operative would go through countless office buildings in Washington and remove the power cords of every shredder they see. Unplug them first, then cut the cord at the base of the shredder so that it can’t easily be rewired. At least not quickly.
Brennan acts like a man deathly afraid of consequences.
You are welcome. It is a complex problem we face. And yes it’s been present a long time. I’m trying hard to comprehend the reality of it. Have a little help from inside the conflict.
Erdogan is a serious threat to the little stability left in Syria and Iraq.
Brennan is SCREWED.. which fortunately is GOOD NEWS for America.
