On Friday the Washington Post reported that Maj, Gen. Errol Schwartz will be removed from his post as head of the DC National Guard DURING the Trump Inauguration.
Schwartz told the Post he would “never plan to leave a mission in the middle of a battle.”

Well, there ya go. Obama didn’t have anything to do with this. The Trump administration didn’t want the guy around, but let him stay until after the ceremony was over. Instead, he huffs his way over to the press and tells a decidedly Obama-like lie. Total fuss over nothing.

The Obama appointee would be asked to step down at noon.
Trump transition team offered to let him stay, but he refused. It appears he would rather argue his case in the press.

I assumed there was more to this story.
Apparently, the Maj. Gen. WAS offered the opportunity to remain through election day ceremonies, but the Maj. Gen. turned it down and then complained to the press that he was forced out at 12:01 p.m. ET.
But the Maj. Gen. is leaving because the Maj. Gen. submitted a letter of resignation, not because he got fired.

This seems to be more blatant media dishonesty — only presenting enough ‘facts’ to support the narrative, but ignoring ‘facts’ that are counter to the narrative.
In this case, it seems that Maj. Gen. Schwartz is complicit in the ruse.

A couple of ‘mistakes’ could be an accident - hundreds of times is a pattern - a pattern against Republicans.
The Washington Post NEVER makes these kind of ‘mistakes’ 0 mistakes that damage Democrats... Mistakes meekly withdraw with a retraction. No, that doesn’t happen when a white liberal elite might be damaged.
Nope, if a democrat might be damaged the Washington Post checks and rechecks... No hurry to run with a half assed story if it might hurt white liberal elites...
