Cuban Jose Enrique Manreza, who sold his house and belongings to embark on a epic journey by plane, bus and on foot in pursuit of the American dream, is now stranded in a Mexican border town after Washington abruptly ended a lenient immigration policy.

"Imagine how I feel, after I spent six days and six nights running through rivers and jungles in the humidity," said Manreza, at a migrant shelter in the southern Mexican city of Tapachula, where he heard the news, along with 30 other Cubans.

Until yesterday Cubans who managed to get into the United States were NOT illegal aliens. I’m frankly shocked at some of the posts on this thread.

Obama in a desperate attempt to punish Cuban exiles (who tend to vote Republican if they become Citizens) single handedly ended a policy that has been in effect for over 50 years and ensured that any exile who reaches US soil today will be returned to Cuba to be summarily executed.

Obama and Castro are gleeful. I am shocked at the Freepers who join in their glee.

Hopefully Trump will undo this on day 1.

But it is highly likely Trump will undo that as well, depending on how he sees how the Cuban/American relationship will help America.
