During Senator Jeff Sessions’, R-Ala. (C,78%) Attorney General confirmation hearing today in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Ted Cruz, R-Tex. (A, 97%) pointed out numerous Democratic hypocrisies that have been manifested in the past few years and during the hearing.
Democrats on the committee, especially Senator Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif. (F, 0%) had been grilling Sessions on whether he would uphold abortion laws in the United States if he becomes Attorney General. Senator Patrick Leahy, D, Vt. (F, 6%) interrogated Sessions on LGBT rights, questioning whether Sessions would uphold civil rights laws as Attorney General.
But did the Democrats care when Obama routinely flouted the law?
Ted Cruz wasn’t having it:

“When the Obama Justice Department sent millions of dollars of taxpayer money to sanctuary cities defying federal immigration law, the Democrats on this committee were silent. When the Obama administration refused to enforce federal immigration law…the Democrats on this committee were silent. When the Obama administration released tens of thousands of illegal aliens including rapists and murderers into the general population, Democrats on this committee were silent.”
Ted Cruz was kicking ass. And he wasn’t done. He pointed out Democratic hypocritical silence on Obama flouting the law and paying a ransom to Iran and for releasing Guantanamo terrorists without congressional approval.
Senator Cruz’s comments were met with acclaim from conservatives on Twitter:

The ad said Trump had “made himself rich by using eminent domain.” That is a lie. It is a pure, one-hundred-percent lie. It is a vile, detestable lie.
Yet somehow you will deny or downplay it. SMH.

I've never completely nailed the door shut on anyone I've previously granted my allegiance to.
It's really up to Ted to earn back my trust. Doing more of what he did today, and helping our new president to forward his agenda, is the way to go about it.

He DID address F&F, first thing, in fact. There are youtubes of his attack before the BLM protesters showed up and Jeff practically had to bite his lip so he and Cruz didn’t crack up. Then there’s youtubes of Cruz continuing after BLM was escorted out.
I cannot bring myself to give Tead credit for anything now.
He took a chance on our nation going down in flames under Hillary Clinton.
The man that could do that has seriously conflicted values.
I cannot stand by silently as Tead tries to rehab his image.
It won’t happen on my watch, if I have anything to say about it.

In fact, I think he brought up F&F first because there is reason to believe Lynch is shredding all the evidence for that case. Assange warned about that the other day, too, and Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch.
Cruz is not perfect. But this is good stuff. Important stuff. Kudos!

I’ve been following Assange’s comments on the shredding closely. It’s so frustrating, to know with near certitude that evidence is being destroyed. Fast and Furious was almost too perverse to be believed. What a shame if no one is ever held to account.

Cruz needs to take down Cory Booker tomorrow when Booker intends to slander and take down Sessions. There is plenty in Booker’s background that could be used to attack him and discredit his testimony.
Good grief! I found myself applauding TED CRUZ! I’ve got to write this down somewhere as to the day it happened. I gotta tell ya this was good stuff.........;)

True the ego in this one is huge, but he really showed the Dems what they are and exposed their hypocrisy. Not that they care, they are fascists in every sense of the word.
