Any woman who claims her son's better off without a dad needs her head examined

Full Title: Any woman who claims her son's better off without a dad needs her head examined: As actress January Jones says she is GLAD her little boy doesn't have a father, a guilt-ridden single mother blasts her comments

Chatting to my teenage daughter over a family dinner the other evening, I paused to reprimand my nine-year-old son for slurping his spaghetti and making a terrible mess in the process.

'You can't tell me off,' he spat back. 'I'm the man of the house.'

Of course I was cross with Charlie for being so impudent, and told him so in no uncertain terms. But at the same time I felt terribly sorry for my confused little boy, growing up, as he is, in a home without a father, and a much-needed role model.

I was, therefore, appalled yesterday to read that the actress January Jones, of Mad Men fame, believes that her five-year-old son is better off fatherless.

Speaking about her son, Xander, the 39-year-old actress told Red magazine: 'He doesn't have a male person saying "Don't cry" or "You throw like a girl". All those s***** things dads accidentally do.'

However, as a fellow single mum, I couldn't disagree more. Of course, many mothers raise children well without fathers after death, divorce or as a result of lifestyle choices. But I have never heard of a mother celebrating the fact that her son has no one to call 'Dad'.

it also leads to child/parent enmeshment where mommykins doesn’t want her little fledgings to leave the nest, EVER.

This is especially in light of the fact that the “child” support system REWARDS single moms who have failure to launch children.

Exactly. Giving a child A.S.S. (adult spousal status) is probably one of the biggest emotional abuses ever.

It only works if the mother is a great example and not afraid to discipline (aka has “father” traits)

I know this to be true in my own case. I too was a divorced mom who facilitated visitation (as many of these single moms actually OBSTRUCT visitation with dad)

I was not afraid to set boundaries, have expectations and discipline.
The single mom that is a walking disaster is one who subsribes to:

1. hate the father and make children hate him too (Parental Alienation)
2. use children as a meal ticket (”child” support)
3. be BFF to children and not a a parent (never saying “no”)
4. having ZERO expectations and parenting by guilt only (pooor widdle children of a pooooo widdle single mom)
5. ladling meds down children’s throats instead of discipline
6. subscribe to the “my johnny/sally can do no wrong” crap

The above six points describes my husband’s ex-shrew to a T and they are turning out to be pot fiends and worthless POS.

Annnnnnd you have a generation of snowflake sociopaths on your hands.

Yep and in the middle class Caucasian community, “Child” support enforcement agency acts as Uncle Sucker does in the Black community

“Whether or not your mother was ‘great’ is irrelevant.

That is hardly irrelevant-——it’s VERY important.

If a woman has to raise small children on her own her character has MUCH to do with how they eventually turn out.

My mother played the hand that she was dealt, and played it well.

“Mark Regnerus, a sociology professor at the University of Texas at Austin, the study was published in the July 2012 issue of Social Science Research.”

First, Thank you for bringing this study to my attention. He created quite a stir with this research and it resulted in his being attacked both legally in lawsuits and professionally. There were follow up research articles published which claim to dispute Regnerus’s findings.

I have not had the time to read the study or the response journal articles in detail. Here is a link to the New Family Structures Study in Wiki:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Family_Structures_Study#cite_note-13

I am glad to see this article:
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/09/03/u-texas-backs-professor-in-battle-with-gay-blogger.html

Rose, who is gay, claimed the study was compromised because it was funded by the conservative Witherspoon Institute and that Regnerus was unable to be impartial because he is Catholic.

The University of Texas-Austin is backing a sociology professor who came under withering attack for a study that found children of same-sex parents are more likely to be depressed or on welfare than kids raised by heterosexual couples.

The school launched an inquiry into Professor Mark Regnerus’ peer-reviewed work last month after a New York-based blogger attacked him for a controversial paper which compared the adult lives of people raised by parents in same-sex relationships to those raised by parents in traditional marriages. The study found several differences, including some that were potentially negative. But an inquiry by the school found Regnerus used sufficiently scholarly methods, university officials announced this week.

“The University of Texas at Austin has determined that no formal investigation is warranted into the allegations of scientific misconduct lodged against associate professor Mark Regnerus regarding his July article in the journal Social Science Research,” the school said in a statement. “As with much university research, Regnerus’ New Family Structures Study touches on a controversial and highly personal issue that is currently being debated by society at large.

Here are some interesting facts from the study:

Sixty-nine percent of children of lesbian mothers reported that their family received public assistance, such as welfare at some point, compared with 17 percent from intact biological families.

About half of children of an intact biological family said they were employed full-time, compared with 26 percent of those born to a lesbian mother.

Fourteen percent of kids of a lesbian mom spent time in foster care at some point, compared with 2 percent of the rest of the children studied.

Overall, less than 2 percent of all respondents who said their mother had a same-sex relationship reported living with their mom and her partner for all 18 years of their childhood.

Please don’t misunderstand - I didn’t mean that your mother’s love and devotion to you was irrelevant.

I was referring to the issue of whether or not a father, that is, a strong male influence on the family was necessary for the normal, happy, and healthy development of the children.

I apologize if I came across as crass.

January Jones must be either: 1)A lesbian, 2) A liberal, 3) An idiot or 4) All of the above. Never heard of her before so her 15 minutes of fame is 14 minutes 59.9 seconds to long.

My deplorable kids knows that both parents are needed to raise children.

Myself, I married later (40) and yes, ConservaTeen was my ring bearer. I had my fun, and ConservaTeen and his siblings (yes, he doesn’t call them his half brother or half sister) are great kids.

You spoke of "internalized memories such as cancer and immune system disorders", would you clarify what you mean by an internalized memory?

A returning sense or feeling I have is that immune system disorders and cancer, more so than other classes of ailments, all have an underlying spiritual component, perhaps an initial wound/memory, as you've said.

If not addressed, it becomes a self-hatred sin against the body and is eventually made manifest physically.

We have that power. We can make our thoughts real, as a simple look around the room will confirm, so it's best to be careful what we think! Especially about ourselves and others.

Instead of loving, caring for and being grateful for the miraculous gifts God has given each of us, we self-condemn, self-criticize and self-abuse. From there, it's so easy to also do unto others in some way what we are doing unto ourselves.

All of this is fixable, as Scripture makes clear and as you have spoken about.

However, if that poisonous malware isn't fixed, it eventually overwhelms the operating system leading to the eventual BSoD.

Lots of excellent questions...

Hope I can answer them.

“Externalized”= Blames someone else... It’s their fault..
commonly expressed as anger toward others.

“Internalized”= Blames themselves.... Feelings of guilt, shame etc..... Frequently results in a reversal of the emotional subconscious reward/punishment system, especially in children. They become negatively stimulated by praise and become positively stimulated by criticism or punishment as it releases strength of guilt and shame.

These children/people act out in order to generate punishment. If their external environment does not punish, they internalize punishment by suppressing the allosteric enzymes in the liver which then inhibit the immune system.

I’ve found this in cancer, MS, and ALS.

For some reason, age 4 trauma results in MS later in life. The real odd thing is I found it often manifests almost immediately after a healthy marriage(Almost half the cases I tested were on the honeymoon for full MS outbreak) An unhealthy marriage creates an environment of punishment which suppresses the internal immune system punishments thus decreasing symptoms.

MS is caused within the feminine aspect of consciousness as it is more common in females and men who get it are usually less masculine. (I’m not judging.. just sharing my observations)

If the trauma occurs around age 3, I have found it results in self mutilation such as cutting.

The emotional subconsciousness reversal is usually carried through life.

Remember, perceptual programming is based upon the limited perception of the child at the time of the event (Who usually blame themselves even when they are victims) and not based upon reality.

“If not addressed, it becomes a self-hatred sin against the body and is eventually made manifest physically.”

I define “sin” as anything which creates an obstacle to LOVE in the human soul. We know what is right or wrong at the subconsciousness level. Often I will find where women had abortions as the self judgement creates a wound in their soul, even if the are pro abortion publicly.

“We can make our thoughts real”
Thoughts are real. They just manifest at a level of consciousness that most people do not perceive them. I do demonstrations in front of groups to demonstrate this by locating an imaginary object created by one of the attendees. I then have them close their eyes and I knock them over by merely reaching out and moving their imaginary object(even though it is 20 to 30 feet from them.)

“However, if that poisonous malware isn’t fixed, it eventually overwhelms the operating system leading to the eventual BSoD.”
Very true. That is why we are restricted in exercising our abilities. i.e. to protect ourselves and others from misuse of our abilities. Remember Jesus and the fig tree.

The reason I made the statement about the allosteric enzymes is that I feel the change in a person’s liver. It feels (in mine) as though there is a cactus in the bottom of the lower liver near the pyloric arch.

I’m like a walking MRI in that I feel the illness in others even when they do not feel it... such as the location of brain tumors. Illness has a different texture, density and temperature from the surrounding tissue.

It is very difficult for me to be around crowds of people as I pick up on all the garbage in the room.

“All of this is fixable, as Scripture makes clear and as you have spoken about.”

Miraculous healings are done when a lower level of consciousness encounters a higher level of consciousness. Prayer tunes consciousness to a higher level. Thus Prayer is healing. So is the Holy Spirit.

Light is an attribute of any higher level of consciousness...

The Holy Spirit looks like liquid light to me. It is more golden in color than the pure white light of God(much higher consciousness.)

In the beginning was the word... Words are merely metaphors for patterns of consciousness. Whose consciousness manifests in the physical reality... Our Father’s, and His Son’s.

Thank you. You've explained things very well and it's all helpful. It helps make sense of what I've learned and observed in others and my self.

It's only been recently, since Obama, that Scripture became real for me and explains what I both see and have a sense of.

There's a picture in my wallpaper rotation of a closeup of a pig's face with the caption "I turn vegetables into bacon. What's your superpower?"

As a human, not only do I have opposable thumbs, I reply "I can turn thoughts into things."

Everything I see in this room, including the room itself and all of the tools to create it, was originally a thought in someone's mind. How freaking cool is that?!?

Not to mention, how does that work or where do those thoughts come from or What stirs them or why?

On the other hand, it's a war "out there" and in here, with lots of damage done, being done and being perpetuated generation after generation and transmorgrifying into something even worse in so many of us.

Bad enough when s_it hits in adulthood when we have resources and maturity to deal with it, But, s_it is a part of life and we deal with it, learn and grow.

But if one is born into s_it or it comes upon you when you're too young to deal with it, what aspects of that soul then become arrested? Or ignored or protected or even perverted with the workarounds we invent to deal with what we cannot figure out nor fix.

When I was a kid in the 60s, those kids weren't as common in the smaller towns I lived in, but now that's a "normal" childhood seemingly everywhere, especially in our media.

As are cancers, immune system disorders, as well as specific diseases like Alzheimer's. It all looks connected to me. Thanks for giving a witness's experience to what I've only read about.

Perceptually programmed is right and it never seems to stop. Thank you for your posts. I appreciate what you're writing here.

I have to admit, judging by our fundamental transformation, Satan's war is apparently going well for him and his.

How exciting to have been born into it in such a battle as this! I wonder if we'll be around to see how it ends.
