President-elect Donald Trump on Friday called for lawmakers to investigate U.S. intelligence leaks to NBC about information on Russian interference in the presidential election.

“I am asking the chairs of the House and Senate committees to investigate top secret intelligence shared with NBC prior to me seeing it,” Trump tweeted Friday.

The NBC report cited “a senior U.S. intelligence official with direct knowledge” of the intel report that was delivered to President Obama on Thursday and is scheduled to be delivered to Trump on Friday.

"Highly classified intercepts illustrate Russian government planning and direction of a multifaceted campaign by Moscow to undermine the integrity of the American political system," NBC quotes the source saying.

We admit we hacked Russian intelligence agents, who supposedly were celebrating that Trump won. Why is it acceptable for the US to hack Russian officials but not acceptable for Russians to hack John Podesta, who is a campaign manager not employed by the US government. Documents show that Podesta received 75,000 shares of Joule Unlimited Technologies......an outfit which was linked to alleged money laundering by the Russian government, according to media reports.

The Center for American Progress (CAP) was started in 2003 by John Podesta, Bill Clinton's onetime Chief of Staff; Podesta led Obama’s presidential transition team after 2008 and was Hillary’s 2016 campaign manager. Podesta’s relationship with the Clintons goes back to 1970.

I've been pointing this out to everyone I know that brings up this Russian interference story - it's the content of the emails that they should be outraged about. It's damning regardless of who did the hacking.

Dems at the highest levels have demonstrated their indifference to securing their computer systems and protecting secrets! A high-schooler could have lifted data from these machines.

From what I’ve been reading, Trump did not agree that the report was solid. Merely assured us that he’ll get someone on that post inaugural.

He’s falling back on basic strategy. Don’t let the enemy direct the battle. He’s now pushing his own terms, “Who leaked to NBC?”

That had some airplay on Fox but may not pick up steam, unless they [Obama & intel chiefs] keep pushing the ‘Russian Hack’ theme. The should drop this now while they’re tied. It’s all down hill for them.
