With the Senate already having launched the process of repealing Obamacare when, as reported yesterday, Senate Budget Committee Chairman Mike Enzi released a 2017 budget resolution setting up the process to partially repeal Obamacare early in Donald Trump’s administration, on Wednesday vice president-elect Mike Pence met with Republican congressional leaders to plot the strategy of how to repeal Obama's signature healthcare law.
Speaking to House republicans, Pence said Trump plans to take executive actions to start unwinding ObamaCare on day one: "Our first order of business will be to repeal and replace ObamaCare," Pence told reporters, adding the process would begin "day one."
"The speaker of the house used the word ‘stable,’ and we will do that," Pence said at a news conference after a private meeting Wednesday with House Republicans. There’s a "broad range of idea on how to do this," he said, without giving details of what a replacement might look like.
The VP-elect added that “it will be an orderly transition to something better...using executive authority to ensure it’s an orderly transition. We’re working now on a series of executive orders that will enable that orderly transition to take place even as Congress appropriately debates alternatives to and replacements for ObamaCare.”

Incoming White House press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters Tuesday that Trump considers Inauguration Day as "Day One" of his presidency: "He is prepared and ready to go. As he's said before, he wants to enact real change on day one. That will mean within hours of being sworn in," Spicer said. "He put his team on notice that he expects nothing less than everyone getting right to work for the American people."

I have a super easy one. The law allows the president to grant exemptions to Obamacare and Obama gave several of them. Immediately grant an exception to anyone and everyone who asks.
Grant mass exceptions to everyone in the eastern time zone, the central time zone, etc.

Trump is going to need a printing press for his “Obama Clean-Up” orders. Return the medical industry back to the people and the industry....and return our legal system back to law-abiding Constitutionalists.
The Democrats own Obamacare. Once it's repealed then since the Republicans are promising a replacement then they own that. Be careful of what you wish for.
He’s going to get that list of names he asked for of everyone who has propagated the myth of man-made climate change too. Hopefully he will give them an opportunity to removed themselves from government employ before he demotes or fires ‘em all.

You’ll recall that under obamacare the president can give groups waivers thus exempting them from the law.
Executive Order #1: “By the authority given me under section (blah,blah,blah), I hereby grant a waiver to ALL American Citizens from “obamacare”, thus exempting them from participating in same.”

Another approach is to cancel all exemptions granted by the prior administration. The support for repealing and replacing will go up exponentially when Obama's favorites discover they will get zapped with this crummy law too.
Well, so much for the claims by National Review, Weekly Standard and the other “Never Trump” media that Trump was going to stab conservatives in the back by keeping Obamacare in place.
Better yet, though ... revoke all the exemptions that have been given out previously — particularly to members of the Congress. See how quickly they change things then, once they find out that they have to partake in the poison chalice with all of the “peasants”.

I’ll go you one better. I’ll take your executive order and raise you another one which un-exempts Congress from the law, LOL.
If he tells the IRS to stand down and not collect the penalties for the individual (and employer) mandate, that might be enough to bring down the house of cards. That would force congress’ hand to get rid of the mandates. His justification can be he’s waiting for congress to act and he wants to review all pending cases against ACA consitutionality.
He should also re-define part time as it was before at below 40hrs per week.
