The Washington Post has retracted its story about Russian hackers penetrating the nations electricity grid with a virus found in a Burlington, Vt., electric company laptop.
Authorities say there is no indication of that so far [that Russians had penetrated the US electric grid], according to an editors note attached to a corrected version of the story on the papers Web site.
The computer at Burlington Electric that was hacked was not attached to the grid, the editors note read.
News of the supposed hack had set off a firestorm of recriminations, with Vermont leaders calling Russian President Vladimir Putin a thug earlier Saturday, after one of the states electric utilities found a virus on a laptop computer.

Which is what I am pointing out to you, and which you seem to be hiding behind philosophization to avoid!
You’re trying to stop at “sins forgiven” and then using that as a license to do any hateful thing you want.
That doesn’t work, buddy.
There WILL be consequences... pieces fall from your reward when you do that.
But I sense that you are steeped in legalism and don’t accept John 3:16-18, do you?
Where is McNasty’s war rattle?
************************************
He blared that out on Friday.
No, you are steeped in cheap grace and don’t accept much of the rest of the bible.
Has anyone noticed that suddenly, at least according to the media, all Chinese hacking has stopped. It was a daily occurrence before the evil Russians “hacked” Hillary, now crickets.
And not just cheap grace, but cheap SELFISH grace. Which isn’t even grace any more. Real grace would at least try to share itself.
Piss on you, but not on me, seems to be your attitude.
“Cheap grace”. wow. Not so “cheap”, my friend. Few have gone through the suffering and death of our Savior and yet so many want to return to legalism.
Galatians 3:10 For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.[e] 11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because the righteous will live by faith.[f] 12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, The person who does these things will live by them.[g] 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.[h] 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. (NIV)
We are “Joint Heirs” with Christ. There are no rewards but eternal life. zero.
McNasty needs to take a walking tour of Chicago’s south side.
You have missed much of the bible. Go and read. You have a very selfish, ungodly model.
And I’ll give you a hint... but you got to get the concordance (actually Google is often a mighty good concordance, if you are too lazy for that).
“And to have it more abundantly.”
Now go and learn from the Master.
God gives us the abundant life just as grace was a gift of eternal life for those that accepted Jesus’s as Son of God. Legalism is an insult to God, the Father. You assert Jesus was crucified for absolutely nothing. I am literally amazed at professional Christians that try to drag us into legalism for money when there is absolutely no tithe after Jesus and Jesus HATED the “Temple Tax” . Jesus was crucified by the Jewish Legalist the day after he threw the tithe takers out of the temple!! Are you a professional Christian making your house payments and eating off of the “tithe”?
Very few have heard of Jesse Dirkhising and his horrific death. Also, there was little outrage by MSM over the Wichita Massacre.
