The Washington Post has retracted its story about Russian hackers penetrating the nations electricity grid with a virus found in a Burlington, Vt., electric company laptop.
Authorities say there is no indication of that so far [that Russians had penetrated the US electric grid], according to an editors note attached to a corrected version of the story on the papers Web site.
The computer at Burlington Electric that was hacked was not attached to the grid, the editors note read.
News of the supposed hack had set off a firestorm of recriminations, with Vermont leaders calling Russian President Vladimir Putin a thug earlier Saturday, after one of the states electric utilities found a virus on a laptop computer.

Mixed feelings about that. It would give Obama time to issues thousands of pardons so the miscreants would never pay.
Behavior like this has vexed us for a long time.
But that’s because we had a “Truth has fallen in the streets” problem.
God has, to all I can see, sent a “Donald Trump” answer, but it isn’t just a “Donald Trump” answer. I’ll eat my spiritual hat if there aren’t thousands who either haven’t bowed to Baal, or will repent from doing so in the face of God’s love. God’s love never forces itself upon anybody, or it would not be love any more but the strings of a puppet show.
When terrorists commit actual attacks, they get off because of that attitude - why not extend it to an actual case of a home-grown idiot?...
Luckily, fewer and fewer people even look at MSM or believe it. The lying MSM outlets are doomed, they’re just still twitching for a while.
If it were up to men, it would be a vexing conundrum.
As it is, I have robust confidence now that God knows exactly what He is doing. He can pardon sins from heaven, and if they are pardoned from heaven then men do not sin by pardoning them on earth. The call of Donald Trump, visible to men, is for reconciling even at the cost of some people not meeting “just deserts.” Theologically, this is known as Jesus bearing their sins. If Jesus is about to burst onto the scene big time and own it, perhaps first in the form of a revival, this could make perfect sense. “Look who just saved you sad sacks! Rejoice!”
God can do this, yes, because He can arrange for the elect, even if viewed as a pool of souls waiting in eternity for redemption, to be present on earth anywhere and at any time He desires and chooses. To get the elect cost Calvary. To place the elect after that, is no harder than placing anybody else.
The WaPo needs to have it’s nose rubbed into their own ‘fake news’ steaming pile of Sh*t as often as possible.
Hint - They live in an alternate universe where they will say things like "This raises more questions than it answers", or "Trump pressured someone to reverse this story".
Pool of souls... well, we’ve heard of deadpool. Why not a live pool?
It’s happened before when God has intensively placed them on earth. It happened in John Knox era Scotland — perhaps the Calvinists of that age, believing firmly in the power of God to do it, prayed for the placement of these souls and the prayer was answered.
It also happened at the time of the early church, and perhaps less so but still substantially at the time of other revivals.
This is one of the most intensely fascinating things about the Lord’s plan to me. It would seem to be an obvious thing to pray for the planting of a revival. Also, if the founding of Israel in 1948 lit the fuse for the return of Christ before the lives of the generation then living have not all ended (no one knows the day or hour, but that might not preclude roughly framing it) then God will have had to lay the spiritual explosives down, so to speak, so that there will be faith on the earth.
To me this is just utterly fascinating. But it’s not going to be about us, not about you or me. It’s going to be about the Lord and will catch us up in some manner.
This is the sentiment that may in fact fail.
There may be a “Shame on you” from the bully pulpit followed by some very sheepish behavior, if the time is right.
“The lefties are so convinced now that Mr. Putin has gotten his countrymen to hack things in the USA, that they didnt bother to really check out this story before running with it.”
Naaah.
They don’t believe it for a second. You really don’t understand that they lie constantly?
Well, it seems to me our lefties are a mix of instigators and useful idiots.
Standard WashPest behavior.

They are still regurgitating this Russian hack story on ABC radio news. The evil Russian narrative must continue even when it is false.
God is actually means what he say.
Forbes also had a very good article on this
Apparently the WaPo just relied on a government source and didn’t even contact the utility to check for accuracy.

The article that was posted from Forbes on this Fake News by WaPo made it clear that it was NOT exactly a hack.
An Employees computer had some malware of the type that could easily have been acquired by visiting an infected website.
According to Forbes, it could have just been that the Employee visited a malicious website and encountered the malware. This malware is apparently readily available to anyone. Could be some Russian, but not necessarily so.
