Now that Trump has won everyone we can relax. There's nothing to do now but enjoy the holidays and wait for the inauguration and then enjoy Trumps presidency. This freeper is going to take a break from the Free Republic for a couple of months. There's no reason to come on here and read all the stories about the lefties and how they're going to do this and that which will only come to no end. It's all just fake news and causes worry and stress. Go ahead check out for a couple months like me enjoy life relish the victory spend some time with your family and forget about all this nonsense. I’ve been here since 98.
I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I’m smart enough to know the Free Republic has some of the smartest people from whom I have learned much.
I plan to take a break, as well, but not until after Trump’s inauguration, as I will not feel safe until he is officially in charge. Up until that day, the left and the Swamp dwellers will be throwing everything they can at our national security and our domestic tranquility.

What is really weird is that this person has been here since March 2016. I remember my first two years, I was on FR even second of the day. I can’t imagine wanting to take a break from FR my first years not that I would after 11 years either. Strange.

And I don’t know about you Red, but Free Republic kept me sane and informed on election night!!!
Can’t do it .... need some FR every day; however, I am self-censoring what I click on. If it’s Leftist/Dem cr@p, anti-Trump, etc. (either by headlines or source), then I don’t even go there & haven’t been since Nov. 8. World news, things that look interesting, the Garden, recipe & prayer threads, Sunday Morning talk show thread (don’t watch the shows, just read the comments), etc. I will still be reading. FR is a community, not just a forum & there are too many & too much I would miss to not visit for ‘a couple of months’. Over Christmas, there will be some good threads, too (religious & otherwise).

Agree. But it occurred to me that Trump-a-Licious may have joined to monitor Free Republic, while never coming out as a troll. Possible. The price of freedom IS eternal vigilance. Doubt this guy is/was a supporter.
